Ramkilde was a free transfer, on an 18 month deal and low wages - a long shot.
Right now we would absolutely kill for Madsen to be even one of those 3 things. |

He has less than 50 senior appearances, most of which are subs. Definitely want ourselves in a position next season where we can afford to get him out on loan just to learn the game, learn his body, learn CONTROL. At the most he runs around like a beyblade - great for a 20 minute sub but I think half the time he takes poor touches and makes silly decisions because he's gassed.
I watch Harrogate a lot (up yours Mark Hughes). they could use a striker like him, although i'm sure the club would prefer somewhere closer like Gillingham or whatever. If he does well enough in League 2 maybe we persuade Orient he's the next Charlie Kelman... |

I believe Leeds are playing Wednesday so they'll be annoyed.
I'm relieved personally as i'm getting a train back north 3pm Sunday, moving it then would have left me f*cked.
90% chance it was going to be moved with Leeds involved so was hoping for 5.30pm Saturday. |

one of the Sky commentators, who's presumably barely or never seen them play, just said how neither Ashby nor Madsen are closing down as quick as the players they replaced. they've just come on!! |

so frustrating they've gone with this. Teams should have the option to choose a replay or not, and if they both agree can go ahead with extra time. Fine, no one wants Blackburn and Swansea or Palace Everton to go to a replay - they can choose to end it there and then. But Tamworth should have been able to force a replay today and punish Spurs. Not just for the money a replay nets you but for a chance to recover and potentially beat Spurs. |

I wonder if you could play him in some sort of deep lying forward position. Try get him to do that Harry Kane thing and spray passes for runners - and he's supposedly good at penalties too.
Clutching at straws? Definitely! But we may have a few more years of Madsen yet! |
