This seems like a postive sign. My mate who supports Spurs says this guy tends to be a pretty reliable source on Tottenham. [Post edited 19 Aug 15:37]

 | Forum Reply | How much for Saito? at 10:03 15 Aug 2025
Yeah, not much more than 2 mil for me. He's in the 'nice to have' category. I'd rather see us continue with the more height, power and pace theme of our buys this summer than get Saito, we need a LB and CM way more than another small wide player. If Birmingham are interested that probably prices us out of it anyway i'd have thought, unless Spurs or Arsenal finally make an Eze bid today! |
 | Forum Reply | Walsh v Nardi at 06:54 13 Aug 2025
Definitely saw the best and worst of Nardi last night. First half he was brilliant and was integral to getting us to HT with a 2 goal lead which we didn't really deserve on the balance of play. 2nd half, his weakness on crosses were clearly evident again. I think Nardi is still better than Walsh mainly because hes way more capable with the ball at his feet and he can make that risky short goal kick routine (which we seem hellbent on playing everytime) work a lot better than Walsh, who looked terrified and way out of his depth when he had to do it against Preston. Plus I think better CBs can help Nardi more with his weakness on crosses. If only Nardi had Walsh's height and catching ability we'd actually have a very decent Championship GK then! Walsh will probably get another chance against Watford though I'd imagine, as he hasnt made a significant mistake that has cost us yet. I just don't get how he's going to significantly improve his distribution from the floor in such a short space of time. Reminds me a bit of when Lumley was asked to do the same. |

Really not sure about Walsh in goal. Getting a few Lumley vibes already tbh. He's not comfortable enough with the ball at his feet unfortunately and that seems to be the way we want to play again. I'm not sure what we were expecting hes not really played any regular football...ever, at any professional level. Its unfair to throw him in at Championship level and expect him to do the business, get Nardi back in there and loan walsh out. I just dont get the thinking. Double unfortunately the back 4 still can't really play out from the back either. There was nice stuff on the occasions we did past the halfway line though. Some of the training patterns of play were clearly coming through in the game. Not sure we'll play too many teams as bad as Preston though and that's the worry. Hopefully there's one two more deals to be done. [Post edited 9 Aug 18:38]

Pretty nice kit, I like the checkered pattern on the blue. I'm not sure about having 'Xtra maintenance' stamped just above my arse though. Despite that statement being more true with every passing year. |

I think I've actually got it confused with another interview Warbs did with Finney for the Open All R's pod last year. That's all good to know, cheers! |

Sorry if this has already been asked or mentioned Clive, but are there any plans to reach out to Marti to do a interview with him about his time with us now hes a free man? It'd be interesting to get his perspective on how he thought it all went and how it ended. I seem to remember you doing something similar with Warbs after he left us which was interesting to hear. Although he didnt give much away! |
 | Forum Reply | Jimmy Dunne new contract at 14:30 18 Jun 2025
Excellent news! I didn't see that one getting Dunne! Nourry does seem to have a decent knack of getting contracts done to be fair to him. It does make you wonder how much the likes of Field, Chair, Dunne, JCS etc are getting for these extensions, but that's a worry for another day. Great to have him on board for next season. Last season was (your opinion on your club's campaign) - A mixed bag! The big talking point is - Who the manger will be This season will be different because - We'll all be another year older I won’t be happy unless - We have a Head of Performance who is based in London Our key player will be (and why) - Chair because he creates most of our chances. Hopefully he'll be less injured this season. underrated player is - Sam Field Look out for (young player who could break through) - Emerson Sutton or Charlie Kelman The opposition player I'd love here is - Ronnie Edwards (Miss him already) The opposition player who grinds my gears is (and why) - Ben Pearson The active player I'd love to have back is (former player of your club) - Eze The pantomime villain will be (could be someone at your club, or another club) - Chansiri Fans think our owner is - Well intentioned but lacks a clear strategy. The thing my club really gets right is - Community work The one change I'd make would be (something off the pitch at your club, ideally) - Clearer Communication and player recruitment that thinks about what makes a good team rather than just signing talented individuals based on good data. A social media account to follow is (something related to your club, most likely not the official club account, maybe a fan or something fan related, apart from your own account) The ground I'm most looking forward to visiting is - Charlton I'm least looking forward to playing (which club) - Sheff Utd and watching Jimmy Dunne play against us. The fans' opinion of the gaffer is (how popular is he with fans? Is he under pressure? What are his strengths/weaknesses?) - Must be getting great at gardening by now. If he left, he should be replaced by - Someone with a lot of patience We'll finish (which position in the table this season) - 18th |

Good news, but you wonder for how long it will be before he disappears again. [Post edited 4 Jun 10:35]

I like Colback but he's 36 in October and only managed 17 starts from 28 appearances this season. I think its time to release him and get a younger replacement who can play most weeks. Same with Fox and Anderson. I can't see Jimmy staying if Sheff Utd are genuinely interested again. |

He likes to play with two bigguns up top and will require a lot of support from the board to beat the drop. |
 | Forum Reply | Paul Furlong deserves a 1st Team chance at 09:22 16 May 2025
Does he even have aspirations of becoming a first team manager? He's been coaching here for a long time now (maybe over 10 years?) and must've had offers to either manage or be an assistant manager for lower league teams during that time. Maybe he just enjoys developing younger players and avoiding all the bulls*it and politics that comes with first team management. Especially at our club. I say stay where you are Furs! A brilliant player and leader for QPR and more importantly a brilliant human being too. He'll be very difficult to replace if and when he goes. In terms of last min goals, its probably worth also mentioning our other seemingly outgoing FB Kenneth Paal's one against Huddersfield last season which kept us from being cut adrift in the bottom 3. Although it didn't seem too important at the time as we looked down and out. He obviously won't been seen in the same light as Jimmy and divided opinion, but I thought he did pretty well overall as our only LB capable of playing Championship level football for 3 years and I wish him well with wherever he decides to go next too. |
