Where Are They Now?
at 21:58 12 Apr 2025

Juergen Sommer in the forever Rs club? I'm slightly too young to remember whether he was good or not ((although i do remember him) a interesting guy to call up for it! Was he good or was he just in town this week and they thought let's get him involved?

Bristol City Reflection
at 21:45 12 Apr 2025

Decent performance overall considering we had no strikers, no LB and no Sam Field. I was expecting more from Bristol City and other than the 2nd half of the first half it never really came. In my opinion Kolli should've came on 15 mins earlier at least and okay he balloned one over the bar when two players were on his right to be played in but on another day that goes top bins and he's the king of shepherds bush!

Yang might be pushing for a start over Dembele. Took his goal well on Saturday even if it was a consolation.

Great effort well played lads. I had my doubts about Edwards in that unfamiliar CM role but he did very well yet again. Best early kick off (in terms of excitement) I've seen in ages!

Very strange that Fox gets in over Morrison. Kieran Petrie on the bench, can't say I've heard of him before! I presume he's been doing well in the development side?

Ten-man Baggies latest to trap QPR in low block ball-ache – Report
at 08:50 10 Mar 2025

Thanks Clive, another fruitless trip to West Brom. I didn't watch the game, but I often think when we have no senior strikers available and a load of little 'tens' and wingers playing, why don't we try throwing Jimmy in at CF to win headers and hold it up to bring others into play? Especially against 10 men. His finish against Portsmouth also shows he does have a bit more composure in front of goal than your average RB too!

Sheffield United Reflection

Thought we looked okay when we actually needed to be exceptional to get anything out of the game against a sheff utd team who were in about 3rd gear for most of the game which was just about enough to get them through it. Ref bottled it on choudhury who was on a yellow early on and should've had a 2nd one either for time wasting or a stupid foul in the 2nd half. Lino wasn't great but he didn't deserve a lighter/object thrown at him in the 2nd half.

I like him too. He doesn't hide even when its not going well for him, seems to have a lot more skill (that first touch in the corner yesterday during the first half as an example) than you think and he has a lovely habit of scoring early on in games which set us up well. Marti is rotating the strikers really well at the moment and it seems to be paying off.

penalty in the lead-up to Colback's goal?
at 22:56 4 Feb 2025

Probably. But then to the letter of the law it probably should've been free kick to them for the Lloyd handball before that. Thank god there's no VAR in this league!

He was brilliant. No idea how he wasn't getting more game time at Saints with how terrible they've been. Although Martin probably wasn't used to seeing defenders pass forward and run with the ball

Vale lifted on QPR’s risky recruit – Signing
at 12:07 4 Feb 2025

Its a bit of a strange deal in that, from what I've read, Chelsea seemed to be negotiating hard for a high % sell on for a player who as far as I understand is out of contract in the summer and injured for the rest of the season. Why didn't we get him to sign a pre-contract and wait to get this done in the summer?

Dunne off?

Its annoying that as soon as we finally address our long neglected LB area with the impending arrival of Vale, that we then suddenly look weak at RB if Jimmy goes! Typical. But we have to take the cash if he's not signing a new deal. We cant afford not to.

New Year transfer window rumours

Yeah, I'm not sure I get it either to be honest and at 5 foot 8 and a slim build it's going to be another one joining Smyth chair dembele and Saito in the land of the giants too. Hopefully he's pacy though and can chip in with some goals. My kingdom for a LB

Seems like those rumours about Yang Min-hyeok coming to us from Spurs on loan could be true. http://x.com/alasdairgold/status/1884493921310364085?s=48&t=8dDk3aA1kIVS5uLUkqwn
