We will hear of this speculation throughout the summer. This is agent talk though. But if the Swans donāt get proper inquiries for him I would be very surprised. In fact I would include a number of players, even Ronald. |

There is most certainly an element of truth in that. But the deal was 10M.
At that moment in time Huw was at loggerheads with Kaplan and Levien. He knew that James could be sold for far more. But I would suggest on this occasion he didnāt let the sale go through for a variety of reasons.
The fact it didnāt go through should suggest to many that it was his refusal to close the deal that led to this not being completed. Phone on or off. It was down to Huw that it didnāt proceed.

Been informed he has sadly passed away. He was the stadium manager. Very helpful to me when I did book signings at the then Liberty.

His contract doesnāt end until June 30th.
We are still paying him.
He is clearly playing off clubs against each other. Had he wanted to sign he surely would have done so by now. Letās not forget if he leaves now there will be a transfer fee. If he leaves on July 1st he is out of contract, the only other option is to agree to join another club on July 1st. But donāt know his position on that, the window never seems shut these days.
He could leave it until August. |
