Pity the Morecambe fans, and community, but the notion that all stadia ought to become assets of community value wouldn't (in the long run) add much of a safety-net, I wish it did.
We only need to look at the run-down state of the LC Stadium to get an idea of how that could go.
Football clubs as ACVs, might have more of a chance though. |

I have to correct that assertion as a matter of historical fact and a friend’s memory.
My best mate’s dad ran the Admiral Blake, late ‘60s into the ‘70s. Ron would never have stood for any of that sort of carry-on.

Also, the Narrow Boat (Wally & Irene) was a great little pub, but it was on the Ladbroke Grove canal bridge further back towards Kensal Green.

If you call the Box Office tomorrow and explain, they should be able to mail you his e-ticket. Either that or they could post a ticket to the different address you will be at. |
