Another great preview. As I was reading it, I was just thinking that with all the signings we’ve made so far, how I longed for the hard b@st@rd signings that Warnock made that formed the spine of his Championship winning side. Kenny, Hill and Derry (& Helgusson although I don’t think he was a Warnock signing) was an absolutely no-nonsense spine of a team from which you could hang the likes of Taraabt to work his magic. And look what happened.
A hard b@st@rd spine is what we’re crying out for. We’ve got the ornaments, we just need a bl**dy tree!!
(Although I must confess, at the time, I was really skeptical of the signings of Kenny, Hill and Derry! I thought Warnock had just brought in his mates from years gone by for a final pay-off, and apart from maybe Kenny, were cloggers who were past it!! What the hell do I know?!?!) |

Love it!! The commentator’s chuckle at the end when he said “But it won’t count!” amused me!!
Probably mentioned elsewhere, but that little touch Saito took to nudge the ball ever so slightly away from their keeper to get a better angle for his goal was simply genius!! Split second thinking and perfect execution!! |

Watford 😂, do me a favour. More like a underwhelming third round draw at best. Quick google search reveals they have won NOTHING of note. They are actually a small town near Luton, with half the population. Even Luton have won more than them! |

If anyone happens to be up Doncaster way, Urban Fresh Burgers are the business. Like 5 Guys only (slightly) cheaper and in my opinion tastier. They also use proper bacon if you want to add it, rather than the crispy bacon granule type stuff they use in 5 Guys which I find a disappointment. Really good shakes too, but alas no peanut butter ones. |

‘Kin hate Sky and their vendetta against match going supporters. Had to feel a bit for the WRPAFC supporters when all their away matches are a proper trek away and the 12:30 ko makes it worse.
I’m hoping to make the DW mate, which is why I’m up at this even ungodlier hour than normal. (‘Kin Sky). |

Re the SW fan’s comment about the equaliser, he clearly wasn’t at LR last season when they scored off Steve Cook’s clearance, bouncing off the Wednesday player who was completely unaware. |

We kept those jokers up last season by giving them 6 points, and the way they celebrated in the Loft End as if they had just beaten Barcelona by displaying the most scintillating football hitherto unseen (not), still really rankles. They owe us big time.

Not too bothered - if they’re wanting to pay him, why wouldn’t he? You’re a long time retired.
What annoys me is that on the bbc sports day round up, they referred to him as the former Chelsea and Bournemouth goalkeeper and making it sound as if he hadn’t been playing for ages. No mention of Rangers and the fact that he played 40 plus games for us last season!! Football really is only Premier League for some. |

This. How many managers have the Spuds had whilst Arteta has been in charge at Arsenal? At least the Gooners have been within a shout of the league. Spuds have as much chance of winning the Premier League as we do. |
