Yes it takes the shine off for a club where every penny is a prisoner. As for Utd fans….well they never had class in the first place so their reaction doesn’t surprise me one bit.
Very positive on all fronts. The end of last season pointed towards a big change at all levels regarding both our style of play to boardroom reshuffle. I don’t expect the team to really gel until Decemberish when the first 11 will pick themselves. Anything sooner is a bonus. It’s a tough league this but I really do expect top half finish….and think we’ll be in a playoff place with a few games to play.
Got to be honest Rich I’ve reached the end of my tether watching media coverage such as the BBC degenerating our culture with their snidey remarks. Refugees coming to the UK should honour the flag of the country who gave them sanctuary as should the ignorant Liberal elite who were born here. I have no time with people who want to turn this country into the shithole they left in the first place. And I view those who tell me to embrace change with great suspicion indeed.
If seeing your national flag fills you with fear then you’re in the wrong country. I’m sick of bigots telling us that we should be aware of the offence it causes. It appears we are the only country in the world who declare our nationality is something to be ashamed of.
Strangely enough just chatting with a friend who’s daughter is a newly qualified radiologist….one of eight who are based at Morriston who are unable to work due to lack of funding even though regular staff are run off their feet and being asked to cancel leave. Is this our NHS in Wales?
Thanks for giving an answer and an explanation of sorts. I’m still unclear why the patient to staff ratios are not adhered to. If the politicians are to be believed it’s not due to lack of funding….and as there appear to be unemployed nurses and doctors I’m still at a loss. Have we made things so complex that model is a failure?
Agree with most of that but I’m really confused as to why we can’t get nurses, consultants etc in our hospitals especially West Wales. I’m sure I read a report somewhere…if I find it again I’ll post it…stating that not all newly qualified nurses and doctors can find a job. What the hell does that mean? https://www.bma.org.uk/bma-media-centre/bma-seeks-deal-on-doctor-unemployment-as
Am I right in thinking that the Ospreys are the only ones who haven’t had a bail out? I’m discounting Covid period as all the regions were helped then. The WRU will do what they want….they never had any sort of respect for the fans when they rail roaded the formation of the regions in the first place. Yes the national team benefited but the club fanbase withered away over the years to where we are today. Rugby has become unimportant due to the lack of tribalism which the average fan enjoyed.
Can’t argue with that analysis and he’s obviously the same in training. The manager and his team have had long enough to asses him now to make a judgement. I still hope they can get a tune out of him but it’s looking unlikely. He’s not good enough for the Championship.
The way I see it is if we can’t score goals then we can’t afford to concede. But does that make us entertaining to the paying public? It’s swings and roundabouts depending which way you look at it.
