Is that a joke? Pathetic from said steward. Hopefully the club sort it out, Ben is a lovely bloke that wouldn't hurt a fly. |

I heard he got chucked out last night. I'm not on social twitface anymore, does anyone know of details why this happened and the clubs response? |

Clive is right about getting outside. I also quit twitter today, sad to leave people I like conversing with on there, but 'ChairSzn' and accounts like that have just taken over the QPR twittersphere and I only really stayed for QPR news and chat. Calippo and a pint of light ale please. |

On reflection, yes its easy to go deeper down the rabbit hole. But if the club had a better communications strategy, NONE of this circus would be happening. The silence and secrecy from the person running the club absolutely helps no-one. The stories about the DOP and manager could be nipped in the bud with one quick statement. And herein lies the problem, we never used to get injury updates or updates on anything. Just a word salad with buzzwords when something of note happened. If we change manager, the same things will happen because the man running the show is trying to keep things on the downlow to avoid scrutiny and is a really bad communicator. Paul Morrissey is a lovely bloke, I think that he probably pulls his hair out about the clubs strategy comms wise currently. I dont think he agrees at all. [Post edited 26 Apr 7:57]

I am far from a Hoos fan but he wasn't on Beards level of rubbishness. Beard was a massive ****. Ase useless as a pair of glasses on a man with one ear. |

Dont expect that. Lee Hoos has hitched his Waggon to Nourry and has been heard in the W12 bad mouthing Marti. |

That would require ownership of the situation from Amit and Reuben. Not something they seem to have been good at recently. |

This is up for debate as Nourry has been quoted as saying he was part of the team that identified Marti. He was happy to tell myself, Clive and others that in January. |

"So its not a surprise to me that the source of this was a WLS journalist." The journalist doesn't work for WLS and hasn't since August 2024. |

No offence taken. The Nets also have a player called Ben Simmons on their roster who is a famous sicknote. Great work though. I did message Jack Supple as to where I could get these kind of stats for the champonship and QPR. |

Of course. A lot more context is needed to understand what injuries? When? What was the player's workload at the time? Loads of questions that would take time and nuance. But basic stats can allow those basic themes to emerge. Sometimes that's all you need. We have all been watching QPR for a long time, and our fans are pretty good at noticing when something is not quite right. We have been through a lot. |

That's essentially how it is working, but why doesn't Nourry just tell us how it is working? Nip it in the bud and stop fans speculating and then you don't end up with stories in the Sun. BUT if my boss was calling it in from Dubai for a year, apparently never being on site, but there are others carrying out the plan on the training ground, then it brings optics and standards into play. Is that a professional way to go about things at a football club? Will that lower morale within the team that has boots on the ground? What does this look like from an optics point of view? In my experience the likely answers are - NO/YES/BAD [Post edited 24 Apr 11:50]

I dont have time to be on here constantly. I have met Nourry twice now and feel like I am able give a more formulated opinion on him based on that, than other fans will be able to. Now that doesn't mean you have to agree with me. BUT, it's not just me saying this. There are MANY people that I haven't met on here and they're saying the same things as me and have been for a year now. |

Having done some further digging, their injury record in terms of the number of injuries puts them joint 3rd in the NBA. They have lost a total of 420 games from 20 players. In terms of total days missed through injury they are 1st in the NBA. The NBA is an 82 game season. [Post edited 24 Apr 11:40]

I know who I would believe first and it isn't the child that has the communication skills of a fruit bat. |

The correlation will be argued by Nourry I am sure. I saw someone mentioned earlier in this thread that the club think we are mid table for injuries, but how have they calculated that? Because there is a huge difference between, total games missed, actual minutes missed and umber of injuries sustained. You could get two ACL's in a season and note it as 2 injuries, but you could get 15 muscle pulls and have those players out for 2 or 3 months at a time. |
