Great idea on Phil's site. A Snopp Dogg mascot. They'd fly off the shelves worldwide.

Only few more days before the clubs first competitive game of the season. U21's v Carmarthen on Saturday 2.30 in the Welsh League Cup 1st round in Carmarthen.

Beat them 4-0 in the 23/24 season and reached the final losing to TNS.

Last season we were dumped out in the 1st round by Baglan Dragons losing 5-3 on penalties

Here comes the summer transfer rumour thread
at 12:18 11 Jul 2025

He played almost the entire 2nd half of last season as RB for Orient. Not where he wants to play though. He is a midfielder.

Lots of posters saying players should have long summer breaks. No games from early May to early August.

I don't get it. I mean every worker gets 4 weeks off a year. Basically a month.

Why should soccer players get three months off.

There are plenty of workers out there. Coal miners, construction workers etc etc who have tough physical jobs every day and only get 20 days hols. And, do those jobs well beyond their 30's

What is this belief system that soccer players should get 3 months?

Looks like 19 of his 39 goals this season were penalties.

I dont think he will be able to make the step up to the premiere league. Certainly not a top club like Arsenal.

We will see. I mean. Big guns like Arsenal paying big money want a 20 goal a season striker.

Championship with 46 games a season not 38 - 20% more games

21/22 45G 17 goals
22/23 46G 21 goals

Portugese League - not a top 5 league

23/24 33G 29 goals (12 penalties)
24/25 33G 39 goals (19 penalties)

So he just about makes 20 goals a season in weaker leagues.

Dont see him scoring 20 a season in the Prem Lge

2 loans. I figured there'd definitely be one ie another center half like we had delacroix. Able to cover left back

Hope if we get a striker its permanent not loan

Teams in the points deduct toilet this season
at 20:40 3 Jul 2025

Teams lining up for points deductions this season. We are off to a good start. Every little bit helps us get further up the table.

Keiran Maguire 2 days ago expects Leicester to get 2 sets of points deductions this season.
Owners King Power are also experiencing severe financial difficulties

Sheff Weds. Just got their third embargo and charge. Now - players wages not paid, HMRC not paid, transfer fees to other clubs not paid. pretty much a certainty now for a points deduction with 3 charges in place

Hull City (courtesy of magicdaps) have just had an embargo put in place. Probably explains why their signed, sealed but not delivered purchase of Louie Barry fell through at the last minute. They can now only sign free transfers.

Who is next????

Keith, was one of those 2 deals waiting in the wings Jamie Donley, Orient Attacking Midfielder.

While I was googling links for Salech I came across a post saying we were one of a number of clubs looking at him

Keith, those other 2 deals waiting in the wings. Were they alternates to Galbraith and now discarded, or, are they potentially representing another mf coming in shortly
