Well, the ship has sailed and an angry Dibling has been left on the jetty. Everton came back with the figure Southampton wanted, only for the goalposts to be moved again. The asking price is now a staggering £50m. I realise that it's Saints prerogative to ask whatever they want, but to up the price when the original asking price has been met is a no no.
Everton, quite rightly, have walked away and will look elsewhere, personally I'm hoping for Tom Fellows. who has far better stats than Dibling, to whom I wish the best of luck. |
