Please use the non football board for subjects like this. Remember no swearing, made up swear words, or abuse to each other. We don’t want to see the charity linked to this nor first time visitors etc. Thanks. |

From Keith he is sunning himself on a warm Spanish coast - We will always put our hands up when we report something not accurate or in this case off the mark. Good fringe it seems saved the day, and he deserves congratulations. But when he oversee’s problems like tickets and merch which go wrong then he gets the flack. As much as we do. |

 | Forum Thread | Wales v Canada : Match day thread & Team News at 09:38 6 Sep 2025
First game in Swansea for 5 years. First game people can watch for twelve years. The most recent senior Wales men’s international at Swansea.com Stadium was a 0–0 friendly draw against the United States on 12 November 2020—played behind closed doors due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to that, the last match with fans present was a 2014 World Cup qualifier against Croatia on 26 March 2013. Doomed to fail again ? Or, will this game sell out ? The latter is looking to be the favourite. Joe Allen’s career will be celebrated at Tuesday evening’s match against Canada at the Swansea.com Stadium, with a pre-match presentation for the 77 time capped former Cymru international. Wales : A. Davies; Kpakio, Cabango, B. Davies, N. Williams; Crew, J. James; D. James, Brooks, Wilson; Mark Harris. Subs: Darlow, King, Mepham, Lawlor, Koumas, Cullen, Johnson, Moore, Norrington-Davies, Thomas, Andrews, J. Colwill.

An away trip for the second time this season takes the Jack Army to Sheffield, and in particular the Owls this Saturday with a 3pm Kick Off. The Owls can be described as having an underwhelming start with lacklustre league form but some resilience in cup games. They are in the third round of the League Cup. Severe financial woes, structural issues, ownership controversy, but possible takeover / investment in progress via an ex Crystal Palace owner. https://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/swanseacity/news/64708/friday-evening-low https://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/swanseacity/news/64715/team-news-sheffiel #Owls #Swans #eflchampionship #EFL #LIVE #TransferNews ⚽️ The Owls Opening fixtures: • Leicester City (A) — Lost 2–1 • Stoke City (H) — Lost 3–0 • Wrexham (A) — Drew 2–2 with goals from Bannan and Cadamarteri • In the EFL (Carabao) Cup: • Bolton (A) — Drew 3–3 • Leeds United (H) — Drew 0–0 before winning on penalties To follow.

 | Forum Thread | The tardy Swansea City v Plymouth Argyle Match day thread UPDATED at 19:08 24 Aug 2025
League Cup 2nd round. ⚽️ Head-to-Head & Recent Form Recent encounters favour Swansea: They’ve won five of the last six meetings (all competitions) against Plymouth. 2024–25 season highlight: Swansea secured a 3-0 win in April 2025. Plymouth’s recent Cup struggles: Plymouth have progressed beyond this stage only once in the past six seasons; their last second-round win was in 2007–08. ⚽️ Referee: Elliot Bell will officiate. This is his second Swansea match—the first was a Championship game last season. He has experience in international exchanges, including matches in Japan. Assistants: Harley McKittick and Ross Murphy. Fourth official: Matthew Russell. Bell had a shocker on the weekend, truly abysmal, highlighted by Sky Sports, Ref Watch. No Watford dramatics please. ⚽️ Swansea City Tactical adjustment: Instead of pivoting around Matt Grimes (also known as the handbrake) Swansea now build through full-backs and wingers more often. Ethan Galbraith’s move to right-back in the last game showed how they can adapt by using midfielders in hybrid defensive roles. We can expect a changed side. However, there needs to be enough on the bench in case it goes all chips. ⚽️ From PASOTI - They Played For Both Sides David Beresford, Lee Chapman, Russell Coughlin, Geoff Crudgington, Luke Cundle, Noel Dwyer, Jermaine Easter, Rory Fallon, Warren Feeney, Jordon Garrick, Chris Harrison, Conor Hourihane, Barrie Jones, Dennis John, George Kirby,Sean McCarthy, Daniel Nardiello, Kevin Nugent, Nathaniel Ogbeta, Colin Randell, Scott Sinclair, Matty Sorinola, Colin Sullivan, Tommy Tynan, Morgan Whittaker, Rhys Wilmot, Bolasi, Marc Clode Keep em coming.
