I think you're right, and ultimately it doesn't make a huge amount of difference as they'll lead on the pitch anyway. Interesting that a manager who apparently wanted to leave in April got put on gardening leave, and a player who wanted to leave in January gets made captain. |

To be fair to Nourry we all know that we're a selling club. Any good offers that come in for Varane and Kelman should be considered on their own merits. |

Arrived a few days ago but pretty sure that they said it was being released over a week or so. |

If you want to move on from it perhaps opening a thread with the heading "Marti to Leicester...maybe" might be unwise. |

I saw Fontaines DC at Finsbury Park last night. It was a good gig but a dreadful venue. |

One of the better managers that we've had since relegation. Some real highs with the quality of football, Leeds and West Brom spring to mind most, along with some hard to watch stuff at times. What I suspect we'll miss most is his ability to put together a team from an often injury hit and unbalanced squad and pick up a win or a draw somewhere in games that we'd have lost a year or two earlier. I think that under any other manager since relegation, other than perhaps Warburton, we'd have gone down comfortably in the Ainsworth season and would have been likely to have done so last season too with the squad that we had. Like others I've found the trashing of him online hard to fathom. Hopefully the new man will come in and pick things up from here. Time will tell. [Post edited 24 Jun 19:41]

As good an explanation as any that we've seen on here. |

Again with the hypocrisy, Ned. Only two days ago you described MC as a "fecker" and dismissed anyone who supported him as being part of a "love in", but it's all very different if anyone dares criticise CN. [Post edited 20 Jun 16:31]

Ah, opinion expressed as fact. Something that you're ok with criticising in others, but it's OK for you to do. Just so we know. The "fecker" part is probably best left for someone else to unravel. |

I'm just asking you, Ned, someone who repeatedly whines about ITK to tell us us how you know know that QPR want to "accept nothing" for the "fecker". It does appear that you've made it up to suit your own viewpoint? |
 | Forum Reply | The QPR summer managers rumours thread at 18:43 18 Jun 2025
Given your regular complaints about people who proclaim themselves as ITK, can you tell us how you know that QPR would accept nothing for the "fecker"? |

Agreed. A decent guy and a hard working player who is missed when he's not in the team. |

You're right, Ned. All is going smoothly at the club. Nothing to see here, let's all just move on. |

This is all sounds like someone more versed in how to target particular audiences online rather than someone who understands football. Which is a coincidence. |

Fair point and badly phrased on my part. Had intended to include the point about leaving them so late but kind of missed that bit. |

You don't need to be jaded to be apathetic. He's shown a lack of interest in communication from pretty much day one. I'd be interested to hear how spreading out the kit announcements helps to maximise revenue. |
 | Forum Reply | Manager situation at 16:07 8 Jun 2025
Well, it's a fact that we've had a manager on gardening leave for nearly six weeks without any indication of a new one coming in. And that's Nourry's responsibility. |

International football has long been fairly dull, particularly those games that are played in June. This user to be down time for football, but no longer. |
