Kone - too slow to go?

Yeh, they're a good pair.
Without Burrell against oxford we went back to the problem of last few seasons - far too bloody slow.

It's just nice to have to people up front who know what they're doing. What comes next I'll worry about in time. I'm going into games more relaxed and confident now because with those two strikers we'll always have an opportunity to get something out of it.

QPR NYC appeal
at 10:51 7 Oct 2025

https://www.qpr.co.uk/news/2025/october/06/qprnyc/

Jimmy Green is a much loved member of our group, and part of not just our family but the QPR family in general. Whenever we wear our t-shirts back at Loftus Road, we have lost count of how many times we have been asked if we know Jim.

We recently found out that Jimmy’s daughter, Lily - just 23 years old - is bravely facing a rare and aggressive form of pancreatic cancer. Lily was just about to begin her final 12-week clinical fieldwork assignment at NYU Langone in acute care - the last step in completing her master's degree in occupational therapy.

She has spent the past five years working tirelessly towards this dream, preparing for a fulfilling career dedicated to helping others. The Green family are facing not only the emotional weight of this diagnosis, but also the overwhelming and unforeseen financial costs of treatment.

To support Lily, Jimmy and the family, QPR NYC are releasing a special edition t-shirt to support her fight and raise awareness for pancreatic cancer. The shirts are $15 and all money generated from the sale of these shirts is going towards the fund to help the Green family with Lily’s care, and to help Lily beat this.

@loftforwords.bsky.social @qprpod.bsky.social @westlondonsport.bsky.social @qprrainbowrangers.bsky.social Can you share to your groups please? Last orders to receive by 1st November is Friday 10th October. Thank you x www.qpr.co.uk/news/2025/oc...

Déjà vu all over again for Stéphan’s resurgent Rangers – Report
at 16:34 6 Oct 2025

Well, Smyth and Vale are a good example of how easy it is to sit here and pontificate, and how difficult it is actually being the guy making the decisions.

After Stoke you'd have said Saito and Vale are our best wingers. Hands down, they're first choice. Smyth lucky to get a look in with Dembele and Chair.

Vale has since had a couple of poor games for me at Sheff Wed and against Oxford, then comes on here and absolutely transforms it.

Saito shut out well by Wednesday, changed the game in our favour Wednesday, pretty ordinary here.

Smyth a great stint here and a goal after another of his falling over stints on Wednesday night.

So the way things are going Madsen might get totally bullied against Millwall and Varane beasts them.

Naaah Dunne knew exactly what he was doing there. And whether it's an accident or not is pretty irrelevant, you can't just charge into somebody.

And, also, even the accounts we have published show the wage bill hovering consistently between £20m and £25m for years. Are they trying to do it just first team squad and excluding the rest of the staff?

I hate this clickbait nonsense. Put a story out saying "every Championship wage bill, 1-24" and it'll get clicks. Who cares if it's true? Too good to check.

It's good news for those of us who find that style of football utterly tedious.
If you can't make it work with a £60m payroll against a £1.5m wage bill then it really might be over.

Really good today. Doesn’t mess about.
Thought it was interesting my Oxford mate on Weds said he thought Cook was our best player by far.

Well you don’t get in the play offs playing like we did against Oxford and Sheff Wed.

But I’m encouraged. And I enjoyed watching us today, against Stoke, and against Charlton.
