I actually saw Johnathon Rotten yesterday. He was in Fulham standing on the new king’s road near Putney Bridge.
He was wearing a bright orange shirt, he’s got a right old belly on him now. |

Exactly. Football is Darwinian, more so now than ever. You have to adapt to change, we’ve done nothing except stagnate while other clubs have evolved.
It’s utterly shameful how we’ve just stood back and watched while other clubs have outgrown and overtaken us. |

Haven’t heard the Gallen comments but if he said marti has done a decent job I think that’s fair. Somebody on this thread said he performed a miracle keeping this lot up. No, a miracle would be getting this lot promoted, getting them to where we are in the league, winning only 7 home games all season and the usual cup embarrassments is, as Gallen says no more than “decent”.
Not sure why we judge our managers on how much we like them rather than what they achieve.
I guarantee whoever the new guy is, if he comes in, and finds a way to make us competitive again all of this will be quickly forgotten. |

Little known fact. Draw a line due west from charing cross (the centre of London), and it pretty much goes straight through HQ. We are sooooo west London. Go west young man, go west. (Though unlike the “forty-niners” Americans who headed west to san fransisco in search of gold, if you head west from charring cross you will soon discover a huge festering mouldy turd.)
