The Coventry Conference – Report
at 19:29:46

Thanks Clive. Once again, a brilliant season of first rate writing that eases the pain and shares the joy. Can I just say to your other reader that if they don’t already contribute to your Patreon page then they should do at once. Writing and artistry of the highest kind should be rewarded. Thanks for all your hard work and genius. Looking forward to next season for the first time in a while.

Watch me rise up and leave, all the ashes you made out of me – Report
at 22:53:54

Thanks Clive. I had tears in my eyes on Friday night and your brilliant writing brought them back again. Loftus Road is a truly magical place and I’ve been under its spell for over 50 years. Unable to be there on Friday but watched on TV. My roars for each of the goals was as loud as if I were standing on the terraces! Had to go round to the student house next door to apologise for the noise. 🥹

City surrender provides perfect summation of QPR's dire season - Report
at 14:00:07

Just wanted to say thanks for your work Clive. A true professional. Which is more than can be said for many of the current squad. Your genius has made a truly crap season just about bearable. Not looking forward to next season but I am looking forward to reading your thoughts on it. Thanks again.

Everything we’ve come to expect from this team and more - Report
at 23:25:07

You probably couldn’t see it from your side Clive, but the numerous arguments between various players and the manager throughout the game was extremely depressing to see and doesn’t bode well. I honestly can’t see this team/manager getting another goal never mind another point. 😞☹️

Luton humbling highlights scale of Critchley’s task — Report
at 18:39:06

Totally agree with all of this Clive. That’s the game I saw. People pulling out of tackles and seeming to have no plan once they had the ball. Another thing that struck me was the difference between the demeanour of the two managers. I was sat above the benches and watched Rob Edwards constantly geeing up his team from start to finish while Neil Critchley calmly watched the dross we were putting out and occasionally made a note in his note book. Doesn’t bode well I fear.

So can I ask all of you who read Clive’s work to go over to Patreon and sign up for even the minimum monthly subscription. You won’t find writing of this quality in many places and you are getting a great bargain. Artist’s can’t create in a vacuum, so sign up. Thanks once again Clive. Not really looking forward to next season but I am looking forward to reading your thoughts on it.
