So many special goal and most have been mentioned. Peake overhead at Halifax would probably be my most memorable. |

Still have a few issues on this and the forum didn’t eliminate my concerns. Time will tell on how this new security firm go. With the exception of Carlisle this season, there is an absolute zero chance of trouble (baring any rival cup game). Drugs will be drugs and they won’t find them on entry, pyro as long as there are consequences for those who are caught will be limited. The hard line searching is pointless in my opinion. Keep it simple and friendly and don’t slow patrons through the gates. |

Just my view but I’m genuinely a bit perplexed by this searching methodology. Where I live they check your bags going into and out of shops and it has not deterred or stopped theft. They check bags before going into events and it doesn’t stop people getting alcohol/ drugs in. Basically the thieves and money savers at gigs use other strategies (see Temu for sneaky devices that store alcohol). I can go with searching/asking someone to open a large backpack. No one wants a terrorist incident in a football ground with an explosive device, but what does taking a top off a bottle, not allowing a flask of coffee and searching kids achieve? Unless your going to wand everyone for metal, pat down areas of a persons body that will get you in serious trouble or full body scan someone, it’s absolutely pointless. As mentioned above, the best way to combat poor behaviour is appropriate consequences. |

Not sure if I’m missing something but it would appear I can’t put in address away from the UK for shipping? Anyone any idea?? |

Totally agree they have no idea. Very positive movements in the transfer market and the foundations of a very strong squad. Lots of positivity around the club and everyone should be buzzing to go again. Have a feeling this could be a great year for the club if we can lock in a solid goalkeeper and a bit of back up firepower. This pre season feels different for some reason. First time I’ve felt the squad on paper are capable of promotion in a long time. Lets hope they gel and we can stay injury free. |

Call me naive but from your list: Rodney - may get taken off us. Personal opinion, but Rodney still looks energy deficient and will not get the goals we need next year Ethan- post injury started poorly but came back towards the last few games. Not the answer as captain or sustainable defence strength Gilmore and Gordon - solid East - great lad but very formation dependant Beckworth - decent Tarryn - great but looked fitness dependant Tobi - solid Barlow- solid and creative Edward’s - developing As a squad we are short and recruitment is crucial. Nothing uo front, wings depleted defence needs strengthening and goal keeper needs sorting. Not much really 😳 |

I am as others have suggested, predicting major problems in the striker/goal scoring department. We will have nothing left as Hendo will rightly retire, bird is too good for our league and fighting recurrent injury and Kyro is 110% broken but will move. There is a massive rebuild needed from back to front. We could and probably will see a completely different side next season. |
 | Forum Reply | so how many points do we need and how do we get them? at 12:59 10 Apr 2025
Fans are deflated, team is deflated and on bare bones, manager appears deflated. Getting any points now until the end of the season is going to be like winning a cup final. Have to keep the faith but momentum has well and truely gone. It’s ours to lose as they say but this next few weeks is not going to be enjoyable |

I have also still never seen a response to the insane international shipping prices for merch. I personally would have bought a lot of training gear, club shirts and presents from the club shop around birthdays and Christmas. I get we don’t pump out factory loads of merchandise but I’m sure I’m not alone in not wanting to spend more on delivery than the product. |

Finally an interview I can relate too. Non of the usual text book responses, instead an off the cuff, down with the times, heartfelt set of responses.can we please have more of this honesty. This is what the club has always been about. |

Some good memories of this era |

Sorry for the post hijack but I believe it’s along the same lines. International postage is costing more than the product sent. Can the club find a cheaper shipper. A new dale shirt is going to cost me 80pounds. I have people wanting to buy stuff but it’s just not worth it. I presume there is a fair few exiles who want stuff. |

This is absolutely the best news we have had in a long long time. Really hope this works out and hats off to everyone who contributed to this. |

It sounds way deeper than that. I’m not sure how a vote of no confidence does anything to help this situation. |

Terrible news and really sad to hear. Thankyou for everything you have done and hopefully this can be reconsidered. Not good times |

Not sure I just ordered online through the club shop. Was a bit of a shock |
 | Forum Reply | Scarborough shirt sales at 12:12 27 Feb 2024
Also throw in that it cost me as much to ship the shirt as it did for the shirt. I’m sure im not alone but international shipping doesn’t make buying merchandise a worthwhile proposition. Out of the clubs control to some extent but how is 35 pound delivery acceptable. |
