"Who's Sorry Now" finally convinced my dad that music hadn't died with Glenn Miller in 1944. |

I spent over 30 years teaching. Every Friday the "Times Educational Supplement" would arrive in the staff room and there was a scramble to get hold of it to look for jobs. This happened in evry school that I worked in. It's life, even if people are happy where they are they are always looking for the next job. It should be no different in football, it's a job. |

Leicester Mercury reporting that it's done but they are waiting on a visa. Hoping to announce it before they go on tour to Austria on Wednesday. |

Same for me. What it is to be 75. I read that wrong. If I go back my age (75) from my birth year I get to 1875, the year that Matthew Webb became the first person to swim the English Channel. [Post edited 13 Jul 17:21]

Sterling went to my old school, Copland in Wembley. Obviously a bit after me, I was there 1961-66. |

I was first taken to the Rs in 1955. 5 years old, and don't remember it. Something must have happened, some weird incursion into my DNA and very being, and I have been addicted ever since. I suppose it's like drugs, but worse. [Post edited 30 Apr 17:44]

I can remember a Graham Kennedy and Graham Sharpe from Copland. Can't think of any other Grahams. Yes, originally a Cricklewood man until 1956, then a Wembley man in Brent Way, Monks Park. |

I don't remember my first match, I'm told I was on dad's shoulders in the loft. I was 5. Dad was an aquaintance of Tony Ingham and Brian Bedford. Brian once turned up at dad's club on a Friday night. "What you doing here Brian? Are you in the stiffs?" "No, I'm playing tomorrow". Brian had 6 pints. Different world. |

No, a Man City supporter from Longsight who I was working with. She's long since gone, now lives in Southampton. I eventually came back and resumed schoolteaching. I'm in Hastings now. |
