 | Forum Reply | Keeper conundrum? at 09:10 9 Oct 2025
Wouldn't be much of a conundrum for me. Anyone this year is a stop gap until Murphy Cooper returns in the summer. Stand out keeper 2 years and running (so far) in League 1, he's fully earned his chance |

I think it's a wait and see, his inclusion in key minutes at Bristol says to me that there's no issues and JS trusts him. Oxford our bench options (midfielders and attackers) were Burrell, Saito, Smyth, Madsen, Varane and Morgan. After international break we have Chair and Poku returning. Competition to get into this squad is the highest I can remember in recent years. I think he should be getting minutes over Frey but don't be surprised when players miss out as we simply don't have the space for all of them |

It wasn't directed at you but others have definitely made the correlation which I don't think is fair. I agree with your last point, there's nothing good to come with that behaviour but I just don't like that being used as a stick to bash Kolli with. Hopefully it can be resolved, as for the man himself, he wouldn't have signed a long term contract recently if he wanted to go to Nice etc |

That may be true but I don't like how his families rumoured behaviour is being used to assassinate Kolli's character. "Background noise needs to end" - are we expecting him to cut out his family from his career? Seems like he's being put in a lose lose situation with this. I'd prefer we judge him with what we know rather than rumours. One of the few players going over to speak to fans after 1-7. Coming on at Bristol and putting in a shift rather than sulking after being left out. I'm not seeing "attitude issues" or "background noise" on the pitch and that's all that matters to me at least |

Might have agreed until he was trusted to close out the win at Bristol. I think we just have great depth in the squad now. Especially when Chair, JCS and Poku are back, players will miss out. Good problem to have |

Well deserved |

The form team in the league but logging in just to mock an injured player, one of ours btw! Just what I'd expect from a "supporter" |
 | Forum Reply | Lesser spotted Clarke Salter at 21:52 30 Sep 2025
Well he'd just come off a full season where he was one of best CBs in the league, wanted by Wolves at the time, give it a rest with the hindsight. Feel bad for the bloke |

Yes that's right, I'll let Harvey and Amadou take it away |
 | Forum Reply | Madsen on today's draw at 15:55 29 Sep 2025
Yeah I don't think anyone is guaranteed anything after the half time triple hook in the last game, JS was clearly setting the standards there and then. Maybe it's as simple as the guy is in good form so keep that going. He's also emerged as the standout profile for our 8 position and I can't see who else is competing, Morgan maybe? I don't think we'll see any duo of Varane, Field or Hayden starting a game any time soon |

JCS back in squad contention this week. Chair and Poku back for Millwall. Per WLS. |

Maybe they were right last season in their criticism (even if slightly harsh as he was still adapting to the league) but the stubbornness is impressive not to go back on this and acknowledge his improvement and importance to the team now. 2nd most minutes in the squad, he genuinely is one of the first names on the teamsheet now It's a testament to the man himself. Coming back from that period out the team last season, between mid December and April he'd only played 210 minutes of Championship football, it can't have been easy. Also think it's a good look on Stephan who has clearly put his faith into him, his well spoken about player development is definitely showing here |

You spend so much time analysing Madsen that you didn't realise it was Morrison who played the pass and not Dunne. Spend an equal amount of time looking at any other player and I'm sure there'd be an equal amount to nitpick on (hopefully not to the point of criticising how they assist a goal...) |

Exactly that. Nothing else needs to be said really, trying to strip away happiness from the fans is some of the most miserable shit I've seen |

The Bannan PTSD is real in this thread. He's 36 in a couple months, he can't keep getting away with it SURELY I'd just hope we play to our strengths and keep the momentum going. The current system and players are working |

They've done this for Mbengue last few games. Kone needs his own |
