Arsenal penny pinching... they have to know the later this goes into the window, the less inclined Palace will be to sell and the more expensive the fee will get. You just spent 50m on Madueke ffs |

Walsh hasn't really had any long loan spells to be honest, only 9 EFL games in his loan at Accrington Stanley in 2023. Meanwhile Cooper has 65 EFL games so far and potentially 40 something more this season. It'll be interesting which path works out, sticking around as the number 2 then thrust into the first team or the consistent loans getting a ton of experience in EFL 2+1 Agree that both need to playing consistently, here or elsewhere |

The long term decision will be between Walsh and Cooper and we'll only find out by them both playing games, probably like you I didn't expect that to happen so soon in our team and feels very harsh on Nardi. I'm just trying to trust the people who get to watch them both every day and hope that the final decision is based on current ability |

It won't fully answer your question but did catch a word with Nardi after the Toulouse game. He was by himself on the bench after the full squad walked back in. Asked about the situation and the gist is that he would like to stay but his future is now up to the club to decide. Obviously couldn't say too much but it did just feel a little bit sad |

Yeah I'd agree, if there was some sort of clause where he had to start x amount of games that would be problematic. I think he would be a serviceable backup if anything. Remembering Poku was out for 23 games last season, Dembele out for 23 games also, a repeat and we might find ourselves a bit light in these positions. |

Seen murmurings online of Yang Min-Hyeok returning on loan. I'm sure that would split opinions, I wouldn't mind him as attacking cover as in my opinion we only have 2 true wingers in the senior team with Poku and Smyth. Would hope he's learned enough from the short spell last season to kick on |

Yep you heard it right, something about it being more "non contractile tissue injuries" and having more surgeries leading to less availability [Post edited 29 Jul 22:36]

Lol so predictable and brilliant. I forgot I should be commenting about his looks during a fans forum. Great discussion mate [Post edited 29 Jul 22:11]

About availability over the seasons, which type of injuries we've been receiving. I'm not going to write a transcript but that's a few. I'm not sure why you're so cynical when you could've emailed or gone and asked whatever questions you want? |

If Nourry no showed I think that'd be a new 40 page thread, be careful with that one! Thought everyone came off well, JS definitely got his humorous side, interesting to hear more of the facts from Ben Williams |

You seem to have an agenda against Madsen or just really don't like him, why? He became one of our better players at the end of last season and was fine in the recent friendlies. One of the best creators in the squad. Someone who can actually pass through the lines. He's documented his personal struggles last season. Why are you continuing to slate him and write him off so easily? [Post edited 28 Jul 17:21]

Agree with Akindileni and been really impressed with his in pre season. Blokes a unit at 17. I think what will increase is play time is that he is actually a left sided, left footed center back. Until JCS appears, it is just him and the team looks more balanced when he is playing |
 | Forum Reply | Dembele at 14:11 28 Jul 2025
I know it's only pre season but is it 4 goals in 5 games this summer? In a team that has been so devoid of goals in recent years, can you not say this is at least promising? If he can stay fit, carry through some of this attacking output into the season, he is one of the most exciting players going into this season for me |

The striker rotation last year was horrible I agree, having to force Bennie Yang and Dembele up front wasn't enjoyable also agree. I'm just not upset at the club when it comes to the Kelman situation. We should've tried to get another striker (especially after Dykes left), but at the time no one would be saying that Kelman was the answer. I would've loved us to try Kelman for next season. If a developmental loan works and the player actually develops I want that to benefit QPR on the pitch. Ultimately he seems to be holding a grudge even despite a completely new management setup so I think we done what was best which was a great transfer fee we can use to buy multiple new players. Really excited about Burrell btw |

The context is I was replying to TK1 who said the club fcked up for not keeping him to compete for starting striker last season. Obviously it would be different this season had he wanted to stay and extended his contract. |
 | Forum Reply | Kelman:Here We Go at 11:48 28 Jul 2025
I agree completely. Trying to score points against the club for not involving him last season is so easy to do, but like I've said it's just pure hindsight. Just see the thread and upvoted comments from 18 months ago to see how we really thought about him https://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/queensparkrangers/forum/305900/4886534/ "Why don't we just cut these players like any other club would. He's no good, we've had him for nearly 3 or 4 seasons now. What else can we possibly need to know about him. Luton have proved that there's gems out there." "I don't want to be overly cruel but few things say 'we expect to be in the division below next season' like extending Charlie Kelman's contract." "Only QPR could extend the contract of a striker who has a record of 0 goals in 26 appearances for us." |
 | Forum Reply | Kelman:Here We Go at 11:33 28 Jul 2025
Regardless of minutes no one was clamouring for Kelman to come back and be our starting striker after 3 goals in a season, it's a rewriting of history otherwise Does Esox_Lucius agree or are we just downvoting all comments for no reason, just trying to talk football on a football forum here [Post edited 28 Jul 11:34]

"He deserved better. QPR fcked this up *last* summer, when he should've stayed to fight for the 9" I think you're playing serious hindsight with this. He just came off a season scoring 3 goals in 25 games, overall career numbers at that point was 20 goals in 148 games. I'll be very surprised if you can find any QPR fan asking for him to come back and compete to be the starting striker last summer After 3 failed loans it would have been very easy for the club to sack him off but fair play for extending his contract and letting him have one last loan move to prove himself as it's worked out for us in the end. The fact he's come back and demanding moves after we've given him this much time, fck him |

I'm sure it's marketing too. Isn't much hype if they released red every year. I guess same with each kit releasing just before every friendly so that they can show it off and get the store open nice and early. Whatever helps with the revenue |
