Nice goal from Pearman, as you say has reportedly signed a pre-contract agreement for the summer (Less said about the keeper the better) |

We were still receiving parachute payments so that income / wage ratio will look nicer. 35M of TV income that year compared to 9M in the past year |

It's actually no where near as bad as it is in the Championship. No doubt due to the crazy TV money they receive. But in comparison it does show the disparity of finances in the football pyramid and how much of a catastrophe our league is. The overspending on the "premier league gamble" cannot be sustainable for the majority of teams |

Found a list of Wages to Turnover from the previous 2 years - I wouldn't imagine much has changed. Being on the good side of that 100 I would say is "good". Ticking time bomb for some I'd imagine |

Can only find figures from a few years ago (bottom tweet) but this shows how much of a money sink clubs at this level are |

First time we've been under 100% since 2019, looks to be improving year on year. Just got to hope we keep going that way. A lot better than the 195% in 2014 |

Trending in the right direction which is great to see. Well done to everyone behind the scenes |

Entitled to your opinions but I won't let one poor game determine mine. Varane has been instrumental in the upside of our form and I suspect would do a lot better next to a ball playing midfielder like Morgan that can compliment him |

How has Varane had his name snuck into a list with Madsen and Ashby? |
 | Forum Reply | Charlie Kelman’s Leyton Orient at 14:28 10 Feb 2025
The Orient manager said on the radio that they would be priced out of making Kelman a permanent in the summer. Not confirmed whether that is transfer fee or wages, make of that what you will |

Agree and as I've said in another thread. 8 international players in the starting 11 with a further 3 on the bench. I've seen Liverpool fans say "well done for beating our academy team" on socials. Sure they were weakened but this shouldn't be downplayed and Plymouth deserve all the plaudits. |

Only the 8 international players in the starting 11 (and a further 3 on the bench). Poor plucky Liverpool. Plymouth away just isn't for everyone. |

This is likely a salary from an earlier club just like the Steve Cook / Begovic 30k numbers that have been denied previously. Speculating on players salaries is pure guess work with Nourry at the helm, no one knows this information |

RE: Yang If Smyth went down with an injury I don't think it's as easy to replace as you may think. Saito is more natural on the left, Dembele more natural in the middle. Sure you could shoe horn a Kolli or Lloyd but again not natural at all. Our squad has really lacked in an important attribute in the past which is pace and I think the lad has that. I don't think it's a bad signing for depth. I do agree that Kolli will need more minutes at some point but I'm sure that will come. |

We've got Varane Super Jon Varane I just don't think you understand He's Cifuentes' man He's better than Zidane We've got Super Jon Varane On topic there was definitely a few Ronnie chants that were attempted in R block last night. Might have been a "Duh Duh Duh Duh RONNIE EDWARDS" a la the Sincs chant Oh to fall in love with a loan player... |

1 goal and 3 assists for Bennie. Clearly surpassed this level, would be good to see him get first team minutes somewhere |
 | Forum Reply | Emmerson Sutton at 14:10 28 Jan 2025
Says a lot if we can fend off this competition and keep him at the club. Sounds like he'll be in the first team very soon. TBR Football understands that despite the interest from Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham, Manchester City, Newcastle and Brighton in securing Sutton’s services, he is close to penning his first professional contract with the London-based club. Furthermore, the Englishman is also close to getting a look-in as a first-team player in Marti Cifuentes’ squad. |

I'm just catching up with this thread but some of these stats for Jimmy Dunne are wild. Touches in attacking penalty area Jimmy Dunne 86 Koki Saito 62 Paul Smyth 59 Isn't it crazy our most involved attacking player by far is our centre back turned "inverted target right back" |
