Field is better at CB. He is difficult to compete for a midfield position at the moment. |

Field started the first 3 games: we drew one and lost two. Madsen started the first and the fourth, we drew one and won one. Statistically, can we say Madsen is a better midfielder than Sam Field? My theory is when you want to win a game, don’t play Field. He cannot play attacking football, he can do some defensive work, but doesn’t mean you won’t lose the game (like the “shield” in the 1-7 loss to Coventry). JS realised this theory and reacted quickly. He replied the WLS question on dropping Field for the Charlton game: “we have to make a choice …” A clever choice led to the first home win of the season. |

Considering the number of sideward and backward passes made by Field each game, Morgan and Varane are much better than him. Morgan and Varane are also younger and attacking minded midfielders. |

We won’t sign him, he is not good enough. Our DS strikers are better than him |

Ba will be a strange signing: not young, not a free agent, no pace, not strong, not tall enough and doesn’t have a decent goal scoring record. Would rather try the DS strikers. |

Frey, Celar and Kelman backed up by Kolli are good enough. If necessary, Dunne can also play the target man role. |

How many times Swansea players fell on the ground painfully holding their bellies? |

Substitution: Frey the striker, Chair No. 10, Dembele the right winger, Kolli the left winger |

The korean at fault again on our right side: walking like a tortoise, did nothing to close down the Swansea player who placed the ball in our box |

The problem is: is Kelman willing to stay with QPR or looking for a move as he is the top scorer in League One, he is not short of offers elsewhere and his contract with us is not a long one. |

With Field and Paal injured, and we are 90% safe, there can be some change in formation: 3-4-3 Nardi in goal 3 CBs Morrison Edwards Fox 2CM Varane Colback 2 Wingbacks Smyth Saito The best attacking defender Jimmy Dunne as the striker with Bennie and Madsen behind him. (or if you still don’t trust Madsen, Dembele instead) This formation allows the shift to 4-2-3-1 when required : Nardi Dunne Morrison Edwards Fox Varane Colback Smyth Madsen Saito Bennie Then we have Kolli, Dembele, Yang, Morgan and Sutton on the bench. |
