Is it free to watch the cricket? I was near the park on Saturday and thought about wandering in for a bit but wasn't sure if there was an admission charge and I was only going to watch for 10 minutes or so. Also, who are Ipswich and Colchester? Seems like an odd combination, maybe that will be our name soon. I saw that one of their players got two hat-tricks in consecutive overs! https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/articles/c17wz7wjvw9o |

I can't see how having any Ipswich teams use our facilities is going to have any bearing on the progress of our first team. I feel like we're more likely to benefit from an improved playing surface and the additional revenue. The number of Ipswich shirts in and around Colchester frustrates me also and when I get off the train at North Station and see a load of them flooding on on their way to Portman Road but it's been like that for years and is never likely to change. Surely it would be worse if we were paying them and travelling 20 plus miles to play in a stadium that isn't ours? I actually find it quite amusing that they're going to have to play in a stadium which has Col U all over it. It's a shame that their colours are also blue and white really. |

Neither would be my initial thought. More likely cover in case Tovide goes as he seems more similar to him in the way he plays. |

Rumours of an in and an out today. Think the in might be Scully although I have heard that Ihionvien might be returning. |

I wonder if he'll be a starter. Not sure we saw the best of him last year but he was very good back when he was at Gillingham. His experience at MK seems to have knocked him a bit but if we can get him back to his best we'll have a very good player at this level. Did anyone else see that Egbo declared himself as "unemployed" on his social media? |

Listened to Robbie on BBC Essex this morning. Typical prickly start and he's not got any more charming but spoke a lot of sense and gave a bit of clarity on the situation and future plans. He was never going to go into much in the way of details but he did give the impression that whatever decision he makes going forward it'll be the best one for the club. |

The other party have now made a similar statement. Doesn't say much but it does say they haven't given up on the club, should circumstances change, and will continue to look at League One and League Two clubs. |

I guess it depends if the rumours of a greatly reduced playing budget are true or not. Evidently Taylor revealed that his offer was at 40% of his previous deal and Egbo has already announced that he's "unemployed". |
