Season Competition Average 24/25 League One 26,663 23/24 Championship 21,180 22/23 Championship 16,758 21/22 Championship 16,162 This is their average attendance over the last few seasons This is Aston Villa’s don’t forget Villa are also expanding their ground soon to 50k+ 24/25 Premier League 42,022 23/24 Premier League 41,921 22/23 Premier League 41,707 21/22 Premier League 41,651 This is wolves 24/25 Premier League 30,635 23/24 Premier League 31,037 22/23 Premier League 31,423 21/22 Premier League 30,692 The population thing is right you are spot on about how big it is. Isn’t Birmingham Englands 2nd largest city? Just going off population of an area means nothing when it comes to it. Unless Birmingham becomes like Man City II just can’t see them needing a ground so big. Come on 60k? This stadium will be for music and stuff like the spurs stadium. It will be mad this summer to see how they spend in the window. I don’t think we had seen a league one side spend over 10 mil on a player before them. |

I had a feeling this could be a Wrexham signing him and Harry 🤯. |

God alive 😮. 60k seats 😲 just why? If they don’t kick on properly and become a premiership team. That will be a massive burden. In the West Midlands the amount of teams there are Villa , Wolves , WBA , Coventry , Walsall how will the have the fan base? This must be a long term thinking 🤔. Like at the start of this thread if we went to 34k we would have to be a prem mainstay. Is ground expansion like this just good business if you have a solid plan in place to become a bigger club? If Cardiff stagnate in league one like I am praying for. The next generation in south wales will be up for grabs so to speak . I still can’t believe that Birmingham want a 60k seater stadium mind . |

I watched a feature on Bournemouth before talking about ground expansion. The money that it would cost is astronomical. Without being able to fill the stadium what would be the point? Man U have a waiting list for season tickets so building the new stadium makes sense. With us at this level it wouldn’t be worth it. We do have existing planning I believe to take the ground upto 34,000 If we get major investment into the squad and then get back too the prem. that would be the only time I believe this plan would come off. Think about it if Swansea and Wrexham get to the top flight . Then stay there we could have half behind us half behind them. https://www.asbriplanning.co.uk/projects/liberty-stadium#:~:text=The%20extension |

The only way to increase the revenue is a successful team. The only way to increase commercial revenue is success on the pitch. These days you want talent you have got to pay for it. There is always risk with investment but you have to speculate to accumulate. This guy coming in might be a master stroke Widel will have a mate that speaks his language, that will help him settle in the area. I hope we also get another Korean in for eom. We are not talking bank breaking stuff here but the investment is needed badly in the squad . Year after year of selling our gems has really made us stagnant . I hope Bristol City go up via the play offs as this will show that the smaller budget clubs can compete. Next year we will have Birmingham and Wrexham coming up and no doubt competing for the top 6. Leicester city , Southampton and Ipswich. We need to spend to keep up look where our little cousins down the road have ended up. |

With Wrexham and Birmingham coming up. This could possibly be a Wrexham signing ✍️. Free championship experience this has been dragged out for months. I would be amazed if he did put pen to paper now . If he wanted to stay it would have be signed months ago. I hope that it might just be squeezing every single penny for him and good work from his agent. But in reality the money these guys get when leaving on a free is ridiculous. All we can do is wish Harry the best. He has been my favourite player for the last few seasons. Wind up merchant and what we really lack proper aggression. No one is bigger than the club we will find a replacement. A name we are forgetting is Low remember the Wycombe cb if they miss out on promotion. Could be a great replacement. |

One of the quotes 🤣 ‘’Vincent Tan you have dishonoured our club and Capitol City you have dishonoured Malaysia , get the f**k out of our club.’’ (Direct quote mods) 🤣 drunk crying into his beer and he has turned into a racist ninja 😂 😂 🤣 Thinking tan will be reading their forum tonight . God alive they think league one will be easy. Their wage bill is huge 😮. Ramsey on 50k Chambers on 40k Robinson on 30k No one is taking these players on that sort of scratch. Contracts getting run down there . Only players worth anything there are Salech and Ashford. We should put a cheaky 200k bid in for Ashford 😂. Not saying he is better than Cooper but just to rub salt into the wounds. Twitter is funny today. Look up the early predictions for Cardiff fans. Chambers was the missing link that was going to take them up 🤣 |

What do you mean union the will still say winning the empire cup in 1927 makes them huge. Listened to 5 live last week. They had a fan on saying Cardiff were bigger than Newcastle. Arguing a club as big as Cardiff should be challenging for the top 6 in the prem. (He was serious) The show ended with Chris Sutton saying Cardiff were bigger than Swansea. That 3-0 loss to them was a blessing it got Riza the time to sink them. Think of that on the day if I could have said they will go down 💯 at the end of the season. They thought it was going to be the start of a new dawn for them 🤣. I hope it is back to back relegations for them hahahahahaha 2027 playing the swd v Newport. |

I hope we score early that chant millllllllll is the worst chant of all time. It properly goes through me. Probably puts their own players off aswell. This season will forever be the season of what if we. Had someone competent upstairs Sacked Luke after the Cardiff game Don’t worry though next season will be the one lads. If Harry stays and we get the investment we have lacked for years. Uppa Swans 🦢 Milwall 1 Swansea 1 |
