The fact he turned up at the PlayOff final suggests to me that if the story’s are true that he wants a return he would have join us even if we lost on Sunday and played next season in the Championship.

Seeing him there on Sunday reminded me of what Alan Pardew once said about him when we were in Division 1 that even if he wasn’t in the squad he would come to the away games in his own time to give his support to the team..so I would say ‘Yes, have him back for a season or two’
