The absolute dumbest thing I've read in a long time
at 01:09 5 Sep 2025

Looks like Kieffer Moore has found a place to be in his career these days .
Wrexham must be doing something right in their recruitment policy .

A goal poacher who lingers in the 6 yard box and feeds off scraps yet maybe get you 20 goals a season , the transfer fee and wages sound a good deal if he delivers the goods onfield.

Judges and European Democracy
at 00:56 5 Sep 2025

Both referendum votes were as the British public wanted and were granted .

2016 the first one I voted in was to stay , the firm I worked for traded with Europe as a big customer base , exported loads to Europe so lets keep is on target .

2020 the second vote was chaotic , Bojo was in charge with no leadership skills apart from later becoming an excellent party planner , undercurrents of doubt and border control started to come front and centre in the debate .

I voted leave second time around , looking back did I make the right call .

Debate on the radio earlier saying Starmer is scared of sacking her , she would then go to the Back Benches and create a huge row over why Starmer bombed her out , they never supported me in a time of need which the issues I was going through , blah ,blah .

Starmer has put his own self concerns before public anger over a tax evader .

Adage is keep your friends close , but keep your enemies even closer .

Never realised they had moved so high up in the Pyramid system , nice one and will look out for their results now .

Always though they had gone into some unknow division and interest was lost .

Looks like she is throwing her extremely well paid lawyers under the bus to save her own skin .
Not my fault I took expert legal advice on the deals , blame my advisors .

How many times is it better to hold your hand and admit I made an error , my mistake .
Been there myself on work mess ups , yep it was me who made the wrong call .
Life is a lot easier if you are honest , a cover up on the shop floor is achievable can be done .

A mess up in the Publics eye with all the press desperate to finish Labour off and she throws more fuel on the fire .

Neville Mead was a lump of a boxer .

Very many years ago I seen him working as a care assistant locally for the elderly , nice one .

Did either Winston Allen or Neville Mead work the door at Barons many moons ago .
I have a faint recollection of some handy fellas at the bottom of the stairs .

My only concern was to navigate down them steps without going arris over elbow .

Alexandra Isak drama realises a hand shake is no longer a deal clincher any more .
The days of a motorway service station cup of coffeee late at night are long gone .

Due dillegence and small print checking of a contract signing seems to be a Football Clubs first priority , he is our asset so you pay up for his skills .

Sadly some footballers throw their toys out of the pram if they do not get their own way .

Alex Lester on the graveyard spot on R2 nailed it , be was discared as unecessary to BBC .

Audience demograhics change and ages will scores on who has the most listeners .
Radio 2 is becoming a giggle fest akin to Radio1 these days .

Caught a bit of Sound of the Seventies earlier , but Whistering Bob does does waffle on .

At a time of this incompedent Govenments leadership a good news story breaks .

How covenient the tabloids will be drowned out by the awful grinning Cheshire cat Angela and her third home purchase .

Lets bury illegal immigration , real protests on the street and lying Politicians again .

Hey, we have had a contract to build Warships for Finland , fly the flag for Britain , oops .

Sure Finland have had a brown envolope arragement pushed into the long grass .

Few years ago went up to Newcastle for an lads awayday weekend .

Head down cheapie Hotel as you do and later after a social night out later met up with the chef who had just finished his shift .

Much banter followed when it was tried to explain to the said chef was a rissole was .

Potatos , onions and corned beef in a batter or breadcrumb coating then deepfried .

Fella took it in good fun , my mate has not appeared on tele as a chef to date sadly .

BBC screened that footage of the fella digging his own grave in an apalling state of health .
His family allowed the broadcast to be aired on the World stage .

Likewise in a propaganda media bun fight innocent victims of famine and destitution are dying daily .

Benny with The Dons backing will obliterate Palestine , casualties on both sides , hostages and innocents doing their daily duties will lose their lives .

Got to give him a nod for his playing efforts onfield for The Swans , well done .
Will support him for this benefit game when arranged .

Up there with Vinnie Jones getting a Welsh Football cap , just how did that happen.

Old joke was they visited Wales and were entitled to play for our Country .

The great Jack Charlton never came across as an Eire football Manager either though .

Nailed on decision from the start of the hearing .

They made the wrong call and all Councils would jump on the bandwagon , Hotels would be closed down as a result all illegal immigrants would be out roaming the streets homeless .

That really would be a tinderbox ready to explode in the UK at any time .

Positive side is Starmer slowly being dragged into an issue he promised from Day 1 of his Election pledges , this highlights his capitulation and agreement into Human Rights Laws .

He is an expert in that field of getting things done for the greater good .

Will have a look in on the Express and Mail headlines later for a laugh though .

Doubt the Press Office at No.10 will be smiling .

Read reviews of Hiks being the best chip shop in the area . Wales on Line always claims they are in the Top 10 chippies in Wales , never been there but might try as a one off visit .

They also big up Shillingford as a must go visit too .

Over a tenner for fish and chips is a luxury for many these days , a family treat and a bill North of £ 50 , throw in a couple of overpriced soft drinks and the bill gets worse .

Batter scratching rescued from the chip oil and added as a treat was the way best side dish ever . and always free .

Whispering Bob allegedly was not impressed by Roxy Music on their appearence on OGWT .
Something new and live and he shook his head in disdain.

That was it for me with Bob Harris , really think the sad loss of Johnny Walker on R2 and his awesome Sound of the Seventies show will never be repeated by anyone else now .

Bob in now turning it into a Counry and Western themed broadcast .

That is his passion and going forward route fair enough . I will not tune in though .

Bigger picture is Radio 2 presenters are now getting more giggly and immature talking .

Phone ins and tell me your stories live on air , covers so many gaps in presenting skills .

Rossis rissoles back in the day when they were based in The Hafod their chippie then were a place to travel to . queues onto the road on occasions yet still served piping hot food after the rush .

Macaris on Singleton St . corner was a match day must visit before or after game call .

Just come across Ron Evans pies bakery in Taibach , called in the other day and wow .

Reasonable prices and the taste is so as it used to taste like in pies back then .

Onana as a world class goalie , i doubt it , got a hand to some of the penalties but to concede 11 shots at goal from the spot is not good enough .

Harry Maguire showed some passion when he came in at least .

Amorin it seems had thrown the towel in during the penalty shoot out .

Bad show by him and the press will dine out on them camera angle shots .

Radio Luxembourg with the battery fed transistor radio late evenings listening was a gem .

Caught a bit of Chappell Roan on some highlights festive slot the other night on tele .
She sounded and performed really good too . Never heard of her before either ,

Bring me the Horizon also had a good setlist and I did catch up on the name later .

Maybe some live music does not have to be via The X Factor or other awful tele talent shows .

Vernon Kay trys to be down with kids and really cannot get the balance right in his audience and trying to appear cool .

Sarah Cox is a Northen lass , yes we know dear , stop telling the listener at every chance .

Lisa Tarbuck is a gem , tucked away on Saturday evening R2 , daytime Radio show i wish that could happen . bit not in the Beebs demograhic audience probably .

Radio 2 done away with Alex Lester , another brilliant Presenter on my early mornings .

Closest I get to London is Wembley Stadium , hate the Capital with a passion.

Family member loves it and travels regularly to Camden and Covent Garden .

Was told it was £7 a pint up in the smog , another no go area for that reason alone .
