I would definitely take Jamal back. Seems I’m in the minority but I’m a fan and can never understand why so many weren’t impressed by him. He wasn’t prolific but knew where the goal was. I always felt he improved greatly once he was out of the shadow of Andre Ayew (who I was also a fan of, again, surprisingly, in a minority). |

Personally would love to see Oli back playing for us as I was gutted when we sold him to the Blades. Not only would a mature McBurnie be a positive on the playing side (for reasons already mentioned) but he’s an icon for us supporters (who can forget him in the away end at Legoland and buying the Swans fans beer at Loftus Road (I believe)?). He’d give the opposition players something to really think about, put bums on seats at the .com and would give us a boost at a time when the pre-season positivity is hitting a bit of a buffer. “Go Get Him Huw” [Post edited 27 Jul 22:10]

NCS I tend to agree with the majority of your posts 👌 but this one is too pie in the sky 😉 If only Leaky Lukey had been jettisoned a week or two earlier, who knows what AS and the boys could’ve achieved this season! Ah well, so long as the talks go well and Sheehan gets the gig, I for one will be over the moon 👍👍 [Post edited 26 Apr 8:40]

And he’s the greatest manager Wales never had. I remember Clough went to The Vetch for an interview around ‘85 but he never got the gig (I forget the reasons now but I think they were political). We’ll never know how good he’d have made the Welsh side, unfortunately 🏴 |

That performance today told me that every single one of our players is battling for Sheehan to be given the job. UNITY. DETERMINATION. CONTINUITY. Forget all others, America, give Sheehan the job he deserves NOW. |

And that’s the one which hurt the most! The one I’ll never forget though was the 0-2 defeat at The Liberty on 2/1/18 when Alli scored late on… the last Swans match I watched with my Dad before he passed away 😞 |

We definitely beat the Blues of Everton on at least one occasion in the PL. Something tells me the only ‘Big Boy’ we failed to triumph over was Spurs. |

Coach / Manager / Man in charge of the players / Person in charge of the players / Gaffer / Boss / Whatever Sheehan was / is, he’s doing a great job. |

100% agree. We’ve all spoken about having a manager who’s ‘the right fit’ for the club and IMHO that’s exactly what Sheehan is. OK he’s no Martin or Williams in front of the camera but, thankfully, he’s no Martin or Williams with his product on the pitch either. He graciously lets his team do the talking on the grass. And that’s what it’s all about. No obsession with stats. No BS. No brainer. |

I’m hearing our new manager is more or less done and dusted. Personally, I’ll be very disappointed if Sheehan doesn’t get it. AS knows this club, board, players and has got this team playing proper, purposeful (and still possession-based) football. And the players look happy and believe in what they are being told to do…and are enjoying it. Again, IMHO, the (new) US owners will be making yet another great big bloody mistake by not giving Sheehan the gig. If they’re unsure, offer him just a 1 year deal to begin with. 🦢🦢🦢 |

The owners need to calculate the cost of firing him now in the hope we stay up against the cost of being relegated under him (and then, presumably, sacking him anyway) 🤔 |

Never thought I’d say this but I’d rather have lost than gained a point last night as it might just have saved his @rse… for now 😞 The writing for me was already on the wall when I witnessed League One Bristol Rovers do a job on us at The Liberty in July, followed by our defeat away to Oxford 🤦 Since then we have luckily drawn against Brum & Cov, miserably lost to the Wurzels, Baggies & PNE, embarrassed ourselves in Legoland and now surrendered 2 points away to the worst QPR team I can remember. Plumb Duff has no character, charisma, passion nor nous. He has no game plan, no style, no pattern nor - dare I utter it - process. He’s destroying the confidence of players who appear to neither understand him, trust him nor like him. THE MAN. MUST. GO. 🤦🦢🦢🦢 [Post edited 20 Sep 2023 20:51]
