Rumour has it that he travelled to West Ham without Saints permission. Interesting if true! |
 | Forum Reply | Fernandes at 14:52 28 Aug 2025
Sad to see him go, especially to a club that could well struggle to stay up over the next few seasons. Still, if the money is invested in quality replacements hopefully it will work out well for both parties. |

Isn’t it possible that he was telling the truth as he knew it? It is entirely possible that the deal picked up pace after the match. They had already been talking. Perhaps West Ham’s board crapped themselves after the last debacle and decided to redouble their efforts to sign him after our game? Still was quite specific when he said that his exclusion had nothing to do with a transfer. He could easily just have said he had a “knock” if the transfer was well advanced at that stage. |
 | Forum Reply | Archer to PSV?????!!!!!????? at 14:28 28 Aug 2025
Archer will score plenty of goals for us if we use him properly. Instead of trying to shoe horn players into systems perhaps we should go back to the good old days when we had systems that played to the players strengths. |

His stats aren’t well off. For those interested in the truth they are spot on. Women and girls here are far more likely to experience sexual assault from family members or people that are known to them. Far more so than being assaulted by a “young man” arriving here by a dingy. I’m not sure how ignoring the facts, or waving made in china pieces of painted cloth makes the situation any better? Perhaps if Farage were to start focussing in the truth areas of inflaming racial hatred, we might make some progress. Are are you of the opinion that sexual assault is not so bad if carried out by “one of our own?” |

There is a football section and a non-football section. So long as political posts are made in the non- football section, what is the problem? |
 | Forum Reply | Lucy Connolly - where are you? at 13:19 26 Aug 2025
She is now doing interviews around the country in which she shows no remorse for her comments. She is a nasty piece of work who clearly hasn’t let her time inside mellow her aggressive racist views. |

There are plenty of Union flags and flags of St George flying from public buildings around the country. Isn’t it possible to have patriotic pride without hanging hundreds of coloured pieces of cloth from street furniture and motorway bridges? Anyone feel the need to sing God Save The King when they pass dozens of these flags dangling from lamp posts? |
 | Forum Reply | Conspiracy Crank Le Tissier Again Promotes Post of Cancer Cure Being Hidden at 16:17 24 Aug 2025
There are many different types of cancer therefore there need to be many types of cures. A lot of progress has been made over the years in cancer treatment. The pharma companies spend a fortune on the development of vaccines. It would make zero sense not to produce successful vaccines and make their money back. I I remember people saying that MMR was a con, along with the coronavirus vaccines. The graveyard is full of people who fell for the “con” sadly many of them are children. You just know that when someone says that “they” are withholding a cure for cancer, that they are a conspiracy theorist. Maybe ask them which cancers? |
 | Forum Reply | Who are you voting for? at 13:00 18 Jun 2024
If something looks like a dog, walks like a dog and barks like a dog, it’s a dog. Farage is a racist but he is careful about what he says and where he says it. He used to sing songs about gassing Jews and was proud that he had the same initials as the National Front when he was younger. 41 candidates of his current party have links with the leader of a party who are following in from Oswald Mosley’s party. The bloke is a fraud and a grifter. A vote for him is a vote for Britain’s Trump. He tries to tell you that he is a man of the people. How many people do you know who are millionaires and banked at Coutts? If you vote for him you are voting for a fascist dressed up as Toad of Toad Hall. |

 | Forum Reply | Braverman gone - and I suspect nobody is sorry at 10:55 15 Nov 2023
Do “most of us” really think it is ok to send asylum seekers to Rwanda, that the homeless should be denied tents to sleep in, that it is ok to incite far right thugs to attack peaceful marchers, that people who March for peace are hate marchers? I think only other sociopathic, heartless scumbags think like her. Her letter reads like a scorned lover and will not only damage her party but will probably end any chance she ever had of leading the party. Even more good news. Her disgusting plans to deport people to Rwanda has been thrown out of court. |
 | Forum Reply | Braverman - deliberately provocative or a genuine lunatic? at 13:39 12 Nov 2023
She encourage a bunch of knuckle dragging thugs to come to London and protect the Cenotaph from a non existent attack. Well, that was until these thugs attacked the police. Like most far right supporters, they are not particularly bright and probably completely missed the irony of throwing Nazi salutes around whilst supposedly supporting the Israeli regimes attack on mostly innocent Muslims in Gaza. The woman is stirring up hate and division. Calling out the 99.05% peaceful marchers as Hate marchers tells you all you need to know. She knew exactly what she was doing, throwing red meat to Tommy Robinson and his fellow thugs and they were happy to oblige. |
 | Forum Reply | Braverman - deliberately provocative or a genuine lunatic? at 18:47 11 Nov 2023
No it isn’t. It doesn’t reference Israel and it is about the Palestinians controlling their own lives. Perhaps if you stopped watching GB News you might understand this more. The police have not been wishy washy about this march at all. They have liaised with the organisers throughout and suggested they moved the date. When the organisers said no they kept a close eye on the arrangements and at no time did it teach the proscribed threshold to be banned so they did what they needed to do to make sure it went off as peacefully as possible. Braverman made their job harder by stoking up hate and encouraging Tommy Robinson and his thugs to get involved. They have caused the police more trouble so far than the main march. As for the poppy sellers, the transport police said there were no problems for them. The bloke who said he was assaulted - it turns out a child stepped on his foot 😂. Apart from that, you seem to have a good handle on things! |
 | Forum Reply | Farage Having Bank Accounts cancelled at 13:32 4 Jul 2023
Apparently his Coutts account was closed because he no longer had the requisite amount in the account. The parent company, NatWest, offered him another account last week but he chose not to mention that. It appears that he is being as economical with the truth as he was when he campaigned for Brexit. Starmer has backed Government policy where he has agreed with it and has already outlined a number alternative policies for taking the country forward but we will have to wait for the election manifestos to be published before we get the full picture. Labour aren’t the only alternative, there are other parties to explore rather then just sticking with this bunch. It is your choice of course though, and if you feel that they still deserve your vote after the last 13 years of mismanagement, so be it 🥲 At least the cricket is giving us something to cheer about.😎 |

Hi Arfurdent. I think that the LibDems will do well in the next election, not because they have got their act together but they will be an easier option for disaffected Tories. My hope is for a Labour/LibDem coalition. Although Starmer is a centrist it will help him kept the likes of Momentum at bay. It will also increase the chances of some electoral reform which is long overdue. We need a complete reset, much like the club! |
