It was the Friends Provident St Mary;s Stadium in the first few years, so I wouldn,t have any objection as long as it maintained that wording ie as your example DP World St mary;s Stadium.
Brighton's deal with Amex is reported to be worth about £8 million and Everton's deal with Hill Dickinson £10 million.
So I would think we could get a higher deal than £1 million a season even in the Championship, given our standing in the game, we could possibly attract £5 million at the moment and with clauses for it to increase if we go back to the Premier League.'

Whilst I would expect the first team to play Liverpool in the Premier League to do it, I don't think every team in the league to do it if they are not playing Liverpool
Jota was a very tragic event, but it was mainly a Liverpool FC thing in this country at least,I would not expect Liverpool to have a minutes silence if one of our players had died, unless he had connections to them |

Perhaps Smallbone won't suit Still's way of playing, that is fine, I don't have a problem with that, as mentioned in an earlier post why do some people have to slag him off so much.
He did a job for us in the last Championship season we should thank him for that and wish him every success in his future career whether that is at Saints or otherwise |

You have hit the nail on the head, " but why hate on him so much" exactly he has always given 100%, last season he was found wanting in the Premier League, but he was far from being alone in that.
He was more than just a squad player in our last Championship season, he started the majority of the games 38 out of 49 in the play offs and after the 8 as sub, missed just 3. |

I don't think they could extend the away section to the side , however they could have opened the opposite end and we would probably have sold another 500 tickets which would have put another 10,000 in their pockets |

Just looking at his 8 sub appearances.
Bristol City home 8 minutes 1-0 win to Saints
Watford Away 3 minutes 1-1 injury time goal due to Bazunu mistake.
Swansea home 33 minutes 5-0 to us.
Norwich Away 5 minutes 1-1 at the time he came on and game ended that way.
Ipswich away 8 minutes James bree sent off 3 minutes later at 2-2 lost 3-2
Blackburn away 28 minutes 0-0
Preston home 20 minutes won 3-0
Leicester away 50 minutes came on 1-0 down lost 5-0
Sorry Dirk but the stats dont say that whenever he came on we handed control to the opposition, in 5 of those games we either won or drew with the result being the same at the moment he came on.
In the other 3 sub appearances, 2 of them were lost in the last minute due to circumstances not related to Smallbone, only the Leicester game could you say that we lost control after we came on, but it didn't change the result we were already losing |

43 regular season starts and 8 sub appearances in a 46 game regular season with 6 goals and 3 assists was a good contribution to 2023/24.
Add to that 3 starts in the 3 play off games with 1 goal and 1 assist.
Smallbone should deserves some more respect than he is getting here |

It made me laugh when someone on TV said after the Wreham game that is was Saints first win in 6 months, harsh given no one has won over the last 3 months due to the summer break |

Aside from a slight diversion through Abingdon I think, the A34 was open when we went though Oxford
Surely there were better routes than the one you took , M40 down to Maidenhead and then down through Basingstoke to the M3 would probably have been better |

About 9 1/2 months roughly, after beating Stoke 3-2 on 29th October last year, we then beat Everton 1-0 at St Mary's on 2nd November |

1. Saints supporters were excellent and made up about 1/3 of the crowd, a long time since I have been to a Saints away game where that has been the case.
2. Sixfields Stadium was easy to get to and park and a pub on top of the hill above the ground was very convenient
3. Poor attendance from the home fans, probably because of the price, £20 to watch a Championship side was a bit steep in the 1st round of the league cup, Pompey charged £14 I believe for their game and got a decent crowd
4. Easy trip up and down, I was back in the house just after mid night
5. Although easy to get too, it was out on a retial park on the edge of town, I am glad that we didn't end up at Stoneham, |

Possibly why the deal hasn't been done already with Everton, Dibling returned from Chelsea due to a lack of a path to the first team, so first team opportunity is the major "want" on his wish list if he moves clubs.
So if Everton are overloaded with players ahead of him in the pecking order, that might be a stumbling block |

He only started 2 League games for Saints plus another 6 off the bench, I think he was really here to keep Cherednik company who managed a massive 19 League starts and 4 off the bench |
