He's been at Everton 3 weeks now and played in the League cup for them, you would have thought he would have got on the pitch in one of the games, one of the Evertonians I know reckons he would be 5th choice for one of the two wide berths. |

He trained in pre season quite a bit and was fit enough to come back into the squad and play at Ipswich. |

In the old days players put playing first team football ahead of being a squad player, you are right he is training with better players, but there is no substitute for playing first team football.
The point being made about Dibling is that 3 years ago he moved to Chelsea and then came to his senses and saw that his path to the first team was non existent so came back to Southampton, he prioritised playing first team football back then over having better coaches etc.
Sadly now it is all about money if someone had offered him more then he would have gone elsewhere |

1. All the pubs were open before and after the game and full of Saints supporters enjoying a peaceful pre & post match beer.
2. I though the atmosphere was decent, most of the ground got behind the team which doesn't happen very often.
3. Portsmouth are a very poor side who are well drilled and know how to make the most of their talents, ie get everyman behind the ball and then press quicky and hoof it from the back, if we had played them in a few weeks when we have gelled our side together it would have been a different story.
4. It was good to see it pass off without major incident, say what you like about bubble games but it means there is no one getting hurt
5. Although the day was a bit of a downer im still optimistic that now we have our new signings we can start to move forward |

Good idea , our dog is disappointed that he is not allowed to go and sink his teeth into a few Pompey fans, but I would be dangerous for dogs to do that, like chocolate & onions it would be toxic to them |

KWP, JWP & Fernandes all in West Ham starting line up, Fernandes subbed off on the hour mark & JWP in the closing minutes 3-0 defeat.
Tyler Dibling once again on the bench for Everton and didn't get off it in 0-0 draw with Villa.
Arron Ramsdale on the bench again and he too stayed on it, in Newcastle's 1-0 win over Wolves, whats the betting he is recalled in January without playing a game.
Dom Ballard played the full 90 mins for Orient but didnt score in a 1-1 draw with Bolton |
