I too would be surprised if there were any other younger posters on here.
Excluding Joiedevivre, there is only 1 other person I know who reads fan forums and that it my one of my Bournemouth supporting mates. He decided to get into them basically because I would read this site sometimes in Sixth Form.
A lot of people have said that social media is taking over the forums. That is true, but as a young person, I often prefer the discourse on here just because people are usually a bit more honest. On social media there is the incentive of recognition and more significantly monetary gain. This leads to having people whose posts are only there to either line their own pockets, get them closer to the club or just get a bit of attention. You don't really get that on forums so I find them a much better place to interact with people.
Everytime I saw Cornet play he lacked the basic attributes of a winger - taking a man on, crossing, pace. Stoke in the cup stands out as a game where he really did next to nothing
No matter what system you play a winger is generally expected to at least do these things, which he couldn't.
Agree he was good at Burnley but has done nothing at West Ham.
There's mismanagement and there's not being good enough. Cornet falls into the latter.
Sorry but with respect I struggle to understand why a Boscombe fan would want to be in the Championship. Very strange mindset for them to have when they are doing so well this season.
They have beaten Forest, Newcastle, Man United and Man City this season. That would mean far more to me than beating the likes of QPR and Watford.
I think in general the Championship is over romanticised. When your team is succeeding down there it's amazing, as we all felt last season. But when you fail to succeed and linger in midtable its totally dire (PNE, Stoke etc).
Archer is meant to be quick however today he comes on at the hour mark and hardly presses when we all know he is capable of this. My question is why the f*ck a player who comes off the bench cannot find the energy to run like a maniac at the oppositions defence which let's be honest is not an unreasonable request. He's on plenty of money after all...
What will it take for fans to show any anger at the state of our club?
Clear that most of our fans don't care about our relegation so what will it actually take for the fans to show some sign of protest or anger at the club??
If Sport Republic were spending their time instructing the communications team and/or ticket office what emails to send out rather than building a plan for next season e.g. new signings, new managers, new SLOGANS then I would be thoroughly f*cked off.
If your going to criticise Sport Republic, which you rightfully should, then focus on what they are responsible for which is sh1t managers, sh1t players and a complete lack of strategy for competing in the Premier League. These failures are the reason we are in our current shambolic state, not emails.
I've noted this with the railways near these grounds.
Brighton is a 31,000 seater stadium yet Falmer station only has two platforms. Results in massive queues, which a lot of our fans had to deal with this season.
Everton's new ground will have the same issue; I've already seen complaints over on Twitter about how busy Sandhills station (the nearest one to Bramley Moore) was in the U21 fixture they held recently. Guarantee when that place starts hosting PL fixtures the queuing will only get worse and more chaotic. No idea how they don't account for these things
You may have misread this. I don't think Pat was calling that song a 'scousers song' but rather the new 'Allez Allez Allez' sh1t that has unfortunately emerged.
