| News Comment | This is getting serious — Signing at 09:46:21
"Despite Celtic’s hilarious propensity to crash out of European competitions in mid-July in two-legged catastrophes against a gang of Bulgarian mealworm farmers" BRILLIANT! |
| News Comment | Pressure eased, now what? Preview at 20:35:19
Excellent preview as ever Clive. Scariest part though was reading the fortnight off comment?! Assuming that means our brave lions are battling it out against the mighty Belize / Andora/ Bongaya in a friendly half way across the planet. All the more reason to walk away with a point tomorrow and let's hope we do. |
| News Comment | Happy New Year my R's - Preview at 14:41:55
If I had a pound for every time I'd read either a preview and / or report where you bemoan the lack of width Clive I'd have enough for several rounds of Peroni. No we don't watch them in training etc but for goodness sake it's so frustrating. The current shambles just isn't working. Anyway far more importanly sincere thanks for all of your wise and often hilarious words over 2017 Clive. Happy New Year. |
| News Comment | Signs not good as QPR end annus horribilis at Wolves - Preview at 11:58:52
"You can’t be talking about goals going in off people’s arses and your luck changing when you’re as repetitively negligent as this" Spot on Clive, in fact your entire preview is spot on. I'm not even sure this is about opinions (but in this case it's mine anyway) but the bottom line is we've actually become a worse football team since Forest away. Fact. |
| News Comment | Derby start tough Christmas for free-falling QPR — Preview at 11:50:54
"The total lack of width in the side is utterly perplexing. Rangers have looked at their most threatening this season when getting the ball wide to players like Pawel Wzsolek and Mide Shodipo, and getting crosses over to, mainly, Idrissa Sylla. We used to moan that Jimmy Floyd Hasslebaink would only start doing this in the final 20 minutes of matches when everything else had gone to shit, and now we don’t do it at all" Absolutely spot on CW, appreciate I mentioned the exact same thing yesterday but it's completely baffling to me why we can't give this a go. As you allude to I'm actually very nervous about seeing the starting 11 this evening. Oh and I'll go 63 minutes re: Sandra. |
| News Comment | The least shocking cup shock - report at 09:13:24
"Rio Ferdinand, carrying himself like a retired ex-pro dragged from the television studios for a testimonial game, played a suicidal pass to Nedum Onuoha in his own area in the first half, which the former Man City trainee attempted to dribble out of trouble only for McNulty to rob him and journey right to the heart of the danger area unchecked. When QPR escaped, Karl Henry tried to run the ball clear, only for Onuoha to try and tackle him" Brilliant, sums up the utter shambles our team has become this season perfectly. |
| News Comment | Late farce sees QPR restore pride, but add no points, with spirited Liverpool show — report at 12:08:50
"they were unrecognisable from the earlier games this season. Play like this for the rest of the season they’ll survive with plenty to spare – but there lies the rub" Spot on. I'm desperately trying not to be too cynical but good grief this match highlighted just how abject we've been previously. Don't think I've ever anticipated a starting 11 as much as I will be come 7.00pm next Monday. Cross everything messrs Yun, Onuhoa, Zamora etc keep their places and a certain Mr F stays on the bench. |
| News Comment | Lacking ideas, shape, commitment or a plan, QPR lose limply at West Ham - report at 08:53:21
Something not mentioned thus far is the perpetual tinkering of the starting 11. Adding fuel to the fire I know in respect of Harry not knowing what he's doing and yes we've been here before both last season and this but where was Phillips? And what exactly had Vargas done wrong? Tombola tactics indeed. |
