One of the bonuses of modern technology is the access to music the yoof have now. I'm not really a big Chet Baker fan, more into Chet Faker tbh, but my lad got into him a fews years ago, entirely independently. |

Ai in the hands of Joe public or governments is a menace, although t's great in the sciences for searching through likely cancer cells etc. We thought over consumption would kill the planet but it's going to be people making ai images of cats in swimwear or some such which ends us. Which, to me, suggests we should hire Michael Sheen to impersonate Brian Clough. Although we can probably only afford Paul Chuckle, who like Clough had his playing career cut short, but is likely holding out for the Rotherham job. |

I did wonder if we'd signed Vale primarily as a left back or for the left midfield? Hopefully this suggests the latter, which is a relief tbh. |

Regarding fans "It is the intensity of emotion that counts, so their history of shared painful losses is as important as the joy of winning the league in creating “self-shaping” experiences. These experiences lead fans to fuse their own identity with that of their club and fellow supporters." Martha Newson, Institute of Cognitive and Evolutionary Anthropology |

"He started playing at school in his native Argentina. But because he suffered from asthma, he chose to be a goalkeeper so he could keep his inhaler close to him. According to the historian, it was already at this time that Che started showing his rebellious side. "He played the game against his family's will, who thought it would be bad for his health. He also played a few games during his motorcycle tour of South America. In a letter to his father he described playing with leprosy patients in Peru. "This may seem like pointless bravado," he wrote in a letter home to his father, "but the psychological benefit to these people - usually treated like animals - of being treated as normal human beings is incalculable." https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-latin-america-25489007 |
