Agree on Brownhill but the word is that several Prem clubs are keen on him and he'll likely join one of them. If we could somehow get him it would be a major coup but think it's a very long shot. |

Signing AOC on big wages would be a huge backward step for me. It's a good while since he could be considered anywhere near his best, he's too old and carrying too many scars from bad injuries. Steer well clear of this one as we can spend our money more wisely. |

Even Russboy isn't that daft. We are such a soft touch. He should have been shoved through the exit not rewarded with a 3 year contract. Bonkers. |

We have Fernandes, Ramsdale, Harwood Bellis and Dibling who will either stay or we'll get good money for. If they stay we have a great squad for this level. If any of them leave we have good money for replacements and it's down to the recruitment guys to make sure we get in decent players for the managers style. We are in a strong position and should be in the mix come the end of the season or something will have gone radically wrong - always a possibility where SR are concerned. |

This isn't his first gig. He's already handled players of a similar status to those at Southampton. It is more likely that, like a lot of us, he takes a little time to build up relationships when embarking on a new job. I prefer this to someone who comes in all guns blazing and shouting his mouth off. Give him a bit of time. |

But he continues to maintain that he will never change so surely the football will be a continuation of pass it around at the back with zero purpose, go forward at walking pace, turn back, recycle, rinse and repeat. |

This puzzles me as well. It's not as though they have suddenly transformed. If anything the shitshow seems to have got worse since his arrival. Not suggesting it's all down to him but I'd be interested to hear what his contribution has been. He still strikes me as another one who talks a very good game but achieves very little. |

Seeing as we will not be playing suicide football involving passing out from the back I'd be amazed if Bazunu starts as first choice. His only attribute is that he is reasonable with the ball at his feet. I'm sure Will Still is going to be selecting a shot stopper which counts Baz out. [Post edited 3 Jun 11:01]

This club is now rotten to the core and in a dire situation. A complete reset is needed but that will only come with new owners because SR have shown from day one how utterly clueless they are. Every decision they make is a wrong one. How they have ruined our club in such a short space of time and the worry is it will only get worse. The decision to sell to them was simply catastrophic. They have drained the lifeblood from the club, the team and the supporters. Scandalous bunch of charlatans. |

We are a complete and utter mess and I have no faith in those running SR managing to sort it out. The club needs to be sold to new owners preferably with at least a slight clue how to do things. Martin Semmens made a huge mistake when he sold us to SR and it will not be resolved until new owners are in place. It's a hopeless situation. |
 | Forum Reply | Set pieces - again at 13:20 23 Dec 2024
I doubt we practiced much of anything in training and certainly not set pieces - it was likely more of a laugh and a gentle kick about. Things are about to change at Staplewood under Juric is my guess. |

Well seeing how good the club are at identifying decent managers it seem AL has dodged a bullet. |
 | Forum Reply | Tall Paul's injury down to lack of game time. at 16:09 25 Nov 2024
No, we aren't doing what he needs us to do because of RM. Tall Paul needs balls into the box and, if he gets them he'll score goals and his work on the ground is an added bonus. The crosses don't all need to be high because he's a tidy finisher with his feet. He's been criminally wasted by RM. |
