Absolute nonsense, all game. Massive defenders fouling Frey all first half but going down screaming whenever touched. The number 3 tried to buy a penalty in the first half and you'd have thought the Stanley Bowles patrons were at Live At The Apollo, such was the guffawing. The keeper - useless and gave Fox a slap after the second goal, which he was booked for. 39 came on and spent his entire period on the pitch arguing about throw-ins. Like Norwich before them, horrible team, horrible attitude, got what they deserved. In two minds about the ref - pulled them up on all of their fouling at attacking set pieces, but let a lot go, and got a lot wrong. |

If fit he's a guaranteed starter at present, and I didn't think that would be the case when he came back. He's our only player with proper pace, but now he's making good, well timed runs and the likes of Dunne, Ashby, Morgan and Varane are putting it in the right places for him to run on to. He won't score or assist every time but his numbers are improving week by week, and the help he gives his full back is immense. |

Happy New Year. I've still not been able to look the bloke who sits in front of me in the eye after basically molesting him celebrating the Dunne goal. My favourite thing about it, after watching it back several thousand times, is the view from the away end, and Sam Field starting to celebrate pretty much the instant it leaves Jimmy's boot, he had far more faith than anyone else about where it was ending up. |

A schedule of Game - 6 days - Game - 6 days - Game - 6 days - Game is easier to manage than Game - 13 days - Game - 2 days - Game - 3 days - Game International breaks are ruinous, and if your players are competing for their country as well they are going to be even more buggered. |

Marco Pierre White wouldn't rest his pastry chef after a botched madeleine, he'd fight him in the restaurant car park, firebomb his house and sleep with his wife, then put him BACK ON DUTY for the next service. There's simply no other way. |

Inevitable that a first half performance like that would culminate in fans going at each other over their preferred celebrity chefs. |

His goal was majestic, but the ball up the line for Smyth for the first goal took three Preston players out of the game, it was brilliant. |

You're not allowed to 'ward off' players by swinging an arm at them, before the ball is even in play, I'm not sure what has got into some people. |

"“You miss Romain [Esse], you miss Japhet [Tanganga] and you miss Jake Cooper. Three players that probably get in anybody’s Championship team. “So just a reminder to people, the thickos, that when you take the three best players out of the team that this is Millwall Football Club.” Maybe the 'thickos' comment wasn't aimed at the fans... |

Madsen got what looked like a naughty one right in front of the Stanley Bowles just before half time - haven't seen a replay but looked very high at the time. Referee was all over the place yesterday, had a passing resemblance to Rob Styles and wasn't much better than him. Nardi's booking for pissing about with the placement of a free kick probably fair, but then he let Norwich take every subsequent free kick from wherever they wanted. [Post edited 8 Dec 2024 15:04]

A brilliant day out, wonderful result with half a first team missing through injury and suspension. Thought Celar had an impact injury rather than a hamstring but could be wrong. Norwich though, what an absolute rabble... terrible attitude, responded horribly to going behind, Dunne rattled Sainz early on and he spent the whole game getting into spats all over the pitch (including with the linesman) rather than playing football. Also they were kicking off with each other, the young 35 Fisher got a good 90 seconds of grief from one of his centre backs just before half time. The captain was an absolute bellend and the keeper has been mentioned plenty in dispatches already. If I was a Norwich fan I'd be fuming at that display. But well done us, we were superb, played some lovely football at times and were pretty solid defensively, swirling second half corners not withstanding. Morrison and Cook read the game brilliantly, and Dunne was a complete hero after the week he's had. That saving tackle at 1-0 arguably more important than the goal in terms of momentum in the game. Tremendous. Finding goals in this squad is tricky so to have Kolli come on and play like that is a huge boost. [Post edited 7 Dec 2024 20:43]

Whatever happens I am absolutely made up for Celar, no-one has ever needed a goal like he did and what an absolute belter. |
