Nothing, but nothing gave me more pleasure than to see Surrey choke with that team they had against plucky Northants and a fine example of how anything can happen on the day
I spent the weekend in Manchester, for, yes you guessed it our quarter final versus Lancs. And if it had not been for Liam Livingstone, who in truth played a blinder we too may have caused an upset, especially when in their reply they were 5-2. I was surrounded by some very passionate but fair Lancs supporters who all said we gave them a scare. Got to stay in the hotel that overlooks the ground too so that was an experience as Old Trafford is definitely the best one I have been to.
One thing we all agreed on was the discussion of why we were having our arses handed to us on a plate by SA (obviously before yesterdays match) and that's because we do not have our national team playing 50 0ver cricket anymore. We will not progress far in any W/C and I suspect the women will come up against the same issues next month too.
As for Ravi, he has scored 3 centuries, one of which was against us. He is a fine player and solid all rounder even at his age. Sure Surrey will try to sign him next season  |

I agree with most of this, but he is only 22 so hopefully will improve and we will benefit from that rather than someone else |

Unfortunately, this has club MUST have a boo boy and we have many over the years and no matter how they perform on any given day it is not good enough in some peoples eyes
I feel sorry for Madsen because with Celar now gone he will be the main target of the trolls. Hopefully he can continue his performance today after the break and we get to enjoy good performances from him that he has shown glimpses of
Even I have my boo boy so I am guilty too but mine is Walsh and its so frustrating seeing Nardi just sat there but there we go |

And apparently those that are full of knowledge he is too lightweight too and easily bullied off the ball. Looked ok to me when he was bearing down on goal
