Condolences Hooping . I've been where you are now.

My point was not directed at you about the vitriol. But it must be admitted that JS WAS getting loads of vitriol after the opening games.

I just thought it it was a little strange there was next to no threads giving him praise after the last 2 wins.

Maybe that will be the way it'll go. Win and it's down to the players and lose -it's on the manager.

Agree Gazza. Think it's legitimate to have concerns early doors. Especially after our first two away performances.

It's the bed wetters (before August was out FFS) and ones with the belittling "Le Shrug" comments that I found baffling. Almost like they wanted him to fail!

Strange that there is minimal praise for JS after the Charlton and Wrexham games.

All those who wanted to out him post Watford and gave him the pathetic "Le Shrug" nick name are notably absent currently.

There will be bad games and good games. But the vitriol spewed about a new manager was something to behold. And not in a good way.

Excellent as ever, Clive.

Your match reports , previews and awaydays are brilliant. I think I've gone through every emotion possible this season reading them!

Taking off our QPR focused spec for a moment- isn't that exactly the case for the vast majority of Championship clubs?

Whether Manager or player, it's "Come here, do well and we'll either get to the Prem together or your success will put you there"

Bless! For such a ( self proclaimed) erudite one, you haven’t got a clue about how football works have you?

Spot on.

We are in a purgatory where we rely on the owners to put money in, whilst knowing that they haven’t got the slightest clue as to how to run a football club.

I thought Marti was a superb manager and I’m gutted to see him depart. Quite frankly, given what he has had to deal with, I don’t blame him if he’s been making eyes at other clubs.

Nourry is an inexperienced chancer who is totally out of his depth.

Does anyone really think he’ll get a good manager on board who he won’t subsequently fall out with?

Anything good to feel about this season?

I think think the only good thing about the season is winning the bet that SE surfaces every time we lose, but is strangely unavailable when we win

Charlie Kelman’s Leyton Orient
at 18:58 24 Apr 2025

Had a good chat with an Orient fan today who goes home and away. Reckons Kelman has improved massively from his first loan spell with the O’s.

He says Kelman has got a lot stronger and has developed into a more composed finisher. As he knows a bit about us too, this O’s fan compared him to Kevin Gallen. I pray he’s right!!

Does it matter?
at 14:00 10 Apr 2025

Just thinking after last night, we’ll probably end up 16th again.
Not a position any of us craves, although we’d have snapped anyone’s arm off for it in November.

My point is, does it matter how we get there? Clive has pointed out numerous times our long sequence of losses. And then we have a spell of superb form, then back to losses.

Is that better or worse than a more consistent pattern of results that is more like draw, draw, lose, draw, lose, win that ends up with us 16th?

Plymouth/Hull – Awaydays

Superb.

I've gone through about six different emotions reading that.

The expression "That's 20 minutes of my life I'll never get back" is turned 180 degrees on its head by this piece- "That's 20 minutes of my life, I 'll treasure" .

Celar's deepening nightmare leaves QPR well adrift – Report

I get that it it's all about opinions but...

Park Royal Ranger's slavish devotion to Dykes made my eyes roll. The canonisation of Saint Jimmy Dunne (a player I like) is a bit much.

But this obsession with slagging Cook off is just plain weird. Our Captain(perhaps there is a reason for that?) is virtually ever present, defends very well and has scored some crucial goals and yet -he is the one you pick out???

Fan Mobilisation - Nourry Out

Start with flyers printed out with "We want Nourry out" at the next few home games. Won't be long before the chants are echoing round the ground.

THAT'S when the board will start to listen.
