Still giving Celar the benefit of the doubt. And I think he was very unfortunate with the injury he got.
Of course we'll still have to see how well he's recovered, and if it makes him more injury prone...
Hopefully all of Frey's fitness work will pay off too. |

I don't think he ever hid - say compare to Andre Dozzell.
Whenever he did play I think he usually had a positive contribution, just that his body kept on letting him down. |

It really did feel like she could have made those subs earlier (shades of Southgate) but like you say can't really argue with a manager with that record of reaching finals.
For the most part we never really got going though, looked like the Sweden win had taken a lot out of the players; we had plenty of the ball but there was some poor decision making in the final third, not enough attempts on target. And not unlike QPR we were particularly poor down the left, Greenwood and Hemp did not have great games. Italy had their lead and it seemed they'd done enough to see the game out. But if you can't be good, be lucky, and the ladies made the key moments count.
Clearly whoever we play in the final, we need to be better. Bring on Sunday 5pm! |

I think it's fair to say sadly he's always been on the spectrum, but nobody really properly diagnosed that 30 or 40 years ago.
And if you're that way mentally, then being thrust into mega stardom overnight is really not going to help you.
Wonderful footballer, flawed human being. But then, who isn't flawed in some way? |

Yeah it feels like "oh we only need to beat Italy and then it's Spain in the final".
Never take anything for granted, etc.
Although part of me should be delighted that England teams are regularly making semi finals and beyond! |

Yeah I was in the press box that day, in the main stand, suffice to say the stadium was not exactly fully finished!
