Went to Wrexham away around 2003/2004 when we won 2-0 on a Tue or Wed eve. One of my favourite ever away games. Can't have been much more than 750 of us there, with a tiny home support. How times change |

Definitely does more harm than good. It had it's place when people's habits were different and only 1 game was being shown on tv at the weekend but, like everything, it has to move with the times and adapt to its surroundings. Should be repealed asap for the good of all concerned, then sky can broadcast whatever games they like at 3pm on a Saturday and everyone is happy/a winner |

Looks like just the Charlton and Milwall games moved in August to October (both to 12.30pm). Bit of a result if they're the only ones moved |

Be amazed if they stick to any of the dates agreed. They know they can do what they like and the EFL will do nothing. They own football now. |

You're right, that was the deal. It seems the EFL have just ignored that and agreed to the revised dates set out above. I bet nothing gets announced today, and the EFL do absolutely nothing about it. |

As part of the tv deal, Sky are supposed to announce live matches by no later than today for matches up to the end of September. No sign of them yet. What's the odds that Sky don't bother sticking to their part of the bargain and don't announce them by the end of today? |

I agree, but perhaps the new manager has told TR that the slate has been wiped clean (yet again, because MC did the same thing then discovered within a few months that the bloke is an oxygen thief).

I suspect Jimmy was telling us what we wanted to hear. I regularly play golf with a number of past and present footballers and, bar the odd one, it really is just a job for them (much like our own jobs are just jobs for us) and they deal with it accordingly. I'm sure Jimmy does really enjoy being with us and has a great appreciation for the fans, but I suspect there is more to him staying than we'll ever be told (such as a failed medical, not enough money on offer, or suchlike). Still glad he's stayed though, as he's a good pro who gives his all and is a welcome bit of stability for next season (along with Field). [Post edited 25 Jun 8:22]
