Agree that Cabango & Burgess will start as first choice and as experienced Championship level CBs so they should be - if the WH lad comes to us I’d see him as first choice cover, maybe 3 CB option with Santos as injury & ‘under the cosh’ extra CB option.
Santos is huge so will be an option vs some opposition but it will be a challenge, I suspect, to keep him fully match fit. |

Agree on Ronald but not so sure on Santos after seeing Sheehan’s post match piece.
Sounds like we have two ‘behind closed doors’ pre-season matches on Friday & Tuesday too - definitely needed as whilst we were neat & tidy last night but nothing more, reminded me of an early stage Luke Williams side.
Cullen proved (again) last night that he is not a ‘9’ & our CB cover was broadly non-existent & not many signs from the youngsters that any are ready for a first team squad spot. On the positive side some early encouragement for connectivity between Widell, Galbraith (very right-footed from my view), Franco & Innoussa but we badly need a finisher to ensure we score when on top. Tymon added his usual mix of good going forward but vulnerable when caught out of position. |

Decent championship level & career goal scoring record (1 in 4) as an attacking midfielder and would add experience at the top end of the pitch so I wouldn’t be adverse to him although would have thought Hull would his obvious shout for what might be his last meaningful contract. |

Nothing wrong with your maths Keith but those accumulated 3-year loss figures are before you take account of the PSR add backs e.g. academy spent, women’s football & depreciation/amortisation.
Typically for us that is circa £4M pa so you can probably add around £12M back in so as at 06/24 the club will be comfortably inside the upper PSR loss limited. That said of course we are already 9 months through the current year. |
