As you stated in the opening post on this thread an EGM needs to be called for members to decide the way forward. I'm sure the FSA would frown upon the way things are being handled in this respect. If nothing is done then I think contacting Kevin Miles should be an action taken. I'm sure the founding members of the trust for example Sandyman, Wozz and Col don't want to see the trust head in this undemocratic direction.
I feel the role of a member of the trust on the Board of Directors is and will hinder any future problems that arise regarding supporters and the relationship with the club. It all feels too cosy now and problems won't be addressed correctly as the trust is part of the club.
It should be a separate entity just like a trade union that both works with the club yet holds them to task if there are problems. My vote would be to withdraw the role and revert back to non representation.
We should never forget the time and money put in by people like Jamie Sarsfield and Jan Wormald when the club really needed help. I know they will be chuffed to bits seeing the Dale in the Play Offs and I hope the club can invite them as special guests at the home play off tie. Never forget how close we were to being extinct without these people.
Agreed. And I'm sure the players would whole heartedly agree too. The days of setting up for possession football with players that haven't the skill set have to end. Just bloody go for it and attack!!!!
Come on Jim it's time to fall on your sword pal before things get potentially ugly with the fanbase. It's just not worked fella time to let somebody else have a go.
Well we seem to have turned a corner after some terrible performances prior to the last week. Let's hope consistency and a new approach from the manager brings us some great football to watch and who knows what it will bring by the end of the season. I will very happily admit I was wrong if that's the case.
Losing to the team on top and in form is no great shame but the way you do it by playing absolute dross is clearly on show this afternoon. Today has to be the turning point that the owners see it's not working and we need a change if we are to save the season.
Crowds are falling, the players look totally demotivated and drained of any spark they once held. I've given him a bit longer to sort it out after him sticking with us last season when we were on the brink of nonexistence but you can't run a football team off the past and the current and future holds more importance.
Thanks for everything Jim we appreciate it but it's just not working.
