Once again the cost of the infant kits is borderline criminal. Last season's didn't go into the sale either, unlike all other sizes. Disappointing. |

Looks cheap and ill-fitting. |

My gut feeling is that we are going to waste another season and getting out of this godforsaken division gets harder with every passing year. Realistically I think the best we can hope for would be 3rd place and passage to the play off semi finals. Unfortunately I have no confidence that Jim can negotiate a successful play off campaign, even with one less game to contend with. Improving squad depth and quality will, of course, improve our chances in the play offs so hopefully we can at least do that. |

Ref the media team, I imagine most in-house club media is the same. Sadly, we don't have decent local journalists to hold him to account. |

I think Jim was probably just being a little too open and honest there. He is only two years into his first ever senior managers role and the first season was a car crash off the pitch. He will still be learning and he is still a rookie. More generally, though, lots of good points made. I think people need to forget about a new manager, though. Unless we spend too much time outside of the play off positions Jim will be here until the end of the season. |

Yes James, nobody is expecting us to. |

From twitter: Simon Grayson has conducted meetings with Emmanuel Dieseruvwe in an effort to persuade the striker to remain at the club. While his future remains uncertain, Hartlepool United remain hopeful of reaching an agreement. One to watch. |

Another example of the crazy world of football. There's not many ex-Dale managers I would say this about, but I sincerely hope he fails. |

Tone wise, yes, it's a little contractual and stresses a negative (potential increase) over a positive (prize freeze and low cost). But really I would say the main draw of buying early was the possibility of EFL football at a guaranteed price. I imagine the club had planned an increase for EFL football and will gauge sales ahead of making a decision for NL football. Seems wholly sensible. |

I mean, I would suspect the 3 year plan is based on promotion via the playoffs. I don't see that we will ever have the 'clout' required to win the league. It does make the whole season seem a tad pointless I must admit. |

They've been the best team in the play offs. I guess it gives us all hope that a manager that's been widely slated by a fan base can get a team over the line. |

We certainly should have got to the FA Trophy Final and the play off semi. Missed opportunities, indeed. |

Wow, fair play to the Latics, two great results. |

I don't belive the Ogden's will ever back Jim significantly enough to expect him to win the league. That isn't a criticism and, indeed, coming into the club with talks of sustainability this stacks up. The problem is, it's a very forgiving league, we were an absolute shit show last season and still floated around the bottom of the play offs for most of it. Whilst we're in the play off picture sacking him becomes a big decision but, if the Ogdens want to be in the EFL in two years, they need to be prepared to make them. |

Unless Jim walks away I would be amazed if he isn't here at the start of next season. He got a bit of abuse from the main stand after the game last night and I would hope that, in due course, some open and honest conversations are had between him and the board. The cracks will only deepen after last night and the fan base does seem to be getting more divided. Next season will be tough, improvement would be a top 3 finish, securing the home semi final and getting over the line in that. I have serious reservations as to whether he can achieve that and I fear the 3 year plan will become a noose around his neck. I believe we are mentally weak, we can impact this through good signings in the summer, but ultimately it comes from Jim. We finished fourth in the league yet shat our pants when we took the lead last night and, let's be honest, it's happened throughout the season. Jim needs to cut the BS, give the players the belief that they can manage games effectively and stop banging on about finances. Relative to our position Jim has been more than adequately backed so it doesn't wash, and, perhaps more importantly, alienates the fan base. |

Interesting talking to a mate who watched the game as a neutral, commenting that we sat back after every goal and invited pressure. Game management is Jim's biggest problem and I'm not sure when the penny is going to drop with him. When it matters most I do not believe he will ever have what it takes to get us over the line. It's well documented that we have a top 7 budget, please can somebody at the club tell Jim that harping on about the clout of others does him no favours. |

I'm sure that's not helping, either. |
