Who knows? But 250 is obviously a major milestone, and the US Army is the first, largest, and most important branch.
Millions more watched on TV, but while DC is the Capitol, it's also pretty much one of the Democrat-dominant parts of the nation. So it's tough to hold something there that requires you to like America. |

First off, there was no mention of Trump's birthday at the parade yesterday, just the 250th birthday of the US Army.
Secondly, it was a beautiful parade that began with the Continental Army formed to fight the British in 1775, and ran through every era of the army in chronological order.
Thirdly, your information about the attendance is inaccurate as always. This morning I even heard some leftist on CNN begrudgingly noting that it was a very unifying event, noting that she saw people with No Kings shirts standing next to others with MAGA hats. She also said she spoke with other people there who said they didn't vote for Trump but the parade was "pretty cool."
Finally, it was probably the best $45 million the government has spent in a long time. After four years of embarrassing ourselves on the world stage, we badly needed this and everything else Trump is doing to restore our pride and patriotism, and show that American exceptionalisn is truly back. |

Who knows, but crap like this is partly why a LOT more African Americans voted for Trump in 2024 than 2016. Even after hearing the media's message that he's Hitler in a KKK hood 24/7/365 over those 8 years.
Oh no, not some "poll" claiming Trump is unpopular?!?!?

Straw man argument. Nobody is saying this, or anything else racist. This is just the Left projecting again.
Americans who have become fed up with the wide open borders brought by the Weekend at Bernies Administration include a vast majority of Latinos, as a matter of fact.
Meanwhile, as far as the LA riots are concerned, what makes me chuckle is seeing people protest deportations by burning American flags while proudly waving the flags of Palestine and other foreign countries. |
