The cardinal skill Kelman's acquired at Orient — and it's one every successful striker has to have — is to know where to be before the ball arrives. It sounds simple, stupid even, but it isn't. Charlie Austin had that ability, Lyndon Dykes never did. You don't see Kelman running around futilely chasing lost causes very often, at least not in the few games I've watched him in this season. |

I'll get crucified locally for this, but the turnaround Jesper Sorensen has a achieved here with the Whitecaps is nothing short of epic. After a decade stumbling around in MLS mediocrity for decades, he's turned them into a footballing machine overnight. They're currently first in the league and, more significantly, two goals up on the Messi and Suarez's Miami team in the CONCACAF Champions Cup semi-final.
I realise anything MLS related is close to meaningless in the UK but they really are as well organised as any team I've seen in the Championship this year. I doubt Sorensen will be here for long, so get 'im while you can!

Similarly Bishops Stortford (Herfordshire) played in the National North a few seasons back. Rumour has it they almost went bust because of travel costs. |

Marti doesnt have a plan B.
In the post-match presser he repeated that this has been the most difficult season of his career. He also said that injuries have been a big — maybe the biggest — reason for that. He implied that, post-season, there will be an internal review as to why this has been the case. |

Varane had tightness in his hammy in warm-up that he couldn't run off, according to Marti.
Sutton looked lively but couldn't make much impact.
Chair seemed OK, added to our improved play late on. |

I'm inclined to agree regarding Madsen/Andersen being on the pitch together is concerned. They're not exactly similar, but they work the same spaces. They should probably be subbing each other. |

Quite. It's a team game. Looking for scapegoats is for mugs. We lost because we played s**t as a team for about three quarters of the match! Madsen was no better, nor worse, than anyone else. In fact he provided the pass leading to the goal that raised our hopes. |
