'I do not think they have bid g concrete bases as they are light' If they followed that then the first named storm in October and one or more of those panels are in some poor old ladies kitchen. Also Solar panels are very desirable to thieves so not only is it one cable its an entire security system with guards, CCTV, high fences etc. for the life of the farm. I know this as there's a decent size solar farm being finished off not far from me and it looks horrible. This is a massive own goal for Cardiff bay if they allow this. |

I would go along with that as long as its well sign posted using the matrices. Not saying lets go full autobahn between 12am -5am. as long as its 3 lane with constant hard shoulder then why not have it at 80mph. All modern cars can take it. Only problem is commercial vehicles |

I understand the safety aspect but if cars are infinitely safer now than they were in the 60's when the port talbot stretch was built why are we reducing the speed limit. The only argument is there's more vehicles on the roads but the amount of traffic about you can't speed anyway. I would revert to the old 50mph sections at port talbot and remover the 50 by Newport apart from the brynglas. Both sections are infuriating as it is without fully capable roads being restrained by draconian limits. |

I don't quite get it. I would imagine being a staunch republican he would reject the offer himself so why comment on others getting it unless it bugs him that much. He wouldn't care who in France would have ordre national du mérite. Just seems very resentful towards the British, an irrational dislike, a phobia if you will. |

Fantastic the more we can get down here the better. Been mulling over this for a while. The Welsh Proms haven't been happening since the ST David's theatre was condemned if the Wales Millennium Centre wont take it on why cant the Swansea arena step up? I've been to 2 orchestral concerts in the arena and the acoustics are more than adequate. |

That will happen, no defence system will ever be 100% effective 100% of the time. |

bit of a gamble this one. likes passing football - well that side cant pass for toffee. ropey CV. I don't know if I were a bassey I'd be gutted. |

It wouldn't last long, apart form the latest tech Russia has (of which they don't have enough) the rest would be cannon fodder. The US alone could do the job, the largest air force in the world is the USAF the the second is the US navy. |

I did a little it of calculation and the UK has produced between 76-140 billion tonnes of C02 since 1750. 76 if you count the British isles, 140 if you include the colonial territories that the UK had during that period. If the C02 timer started right now China would produce more C02 than 140billion by 2036 we aren't killing the planet [Post edited 17 Jun 10:26]

So you think the people of West Wales should remain in the 18th century because of scenery and language? Also I'm confused I thought West Wales was invaded by English retirees with their pesky second homes but now its full of tribes people in mud huts? |

Well they seem to be achieving nothing on all accounts because bog all's improving |

There we are then, 8 hours from London on a train you could get to Inverness and the road from Swansea to Aber once you get past Carmarthen is the same as when drovers used to take cattle to market centuries ago. |

Yes but my cynicism is born from making promises knowing they wont follow them through. Tories/Labour they're all the same. They could offer £453b until I see it happen I'll file under BS. The fact its mostly for the South East is another point that should be addressed. How long does it take to get to Aberystwyth from Carmarthen again? |

An announcement of investment in time before a big election year to persuade voters? Well I never. Tories did this trick before when they said they'd electrify to Swansea and look at helping fund the lagoon only for it be never mentioned again. Crooks the lot of them. |

Is Fabian Delph a better player then seeing as he has more league titles than Ramsey? Stats can hide many things, Ramsey on his day and fully fit is a must in any team the argument is he didn't do it often enough to be considered world class |

Pull your tongue out from his Harris. He had one class game against a poor Russia in 2016. Comparing his to beckham only thing Ramseys got a higher figure than beckham is time on the treatment table. |

So the local boy used his boyhood club to get a pay rise while simultaneously delaying/fudging up said boyhood clubs summer plans. Brilliant [Post edited 6 Jun 13:28]

My point is its a song contest that most people do not care about. Yes there's tactical/political voting that has plagued it for 30 years but its just a song contest. It doesn't shape world events, its just a bit of fun. I agree Australia still being in it is silly, I thought that was just a one off but there we go I repeat its a bit of camp fun. |
