One week on from Cov away, we're on again, home to Spurs |

We're so poor in the cups, even our goal has been taken off us since the start of this thread, 0 3 but still out |

Echo most of what's been said above. Tried to spend my QPRCash, no clear option to pay with it. 4th attempt found a redeem Voucher button, that did split my bill QPRCash + balance owed BUT post transaction, the QPRCash wasn't referenced and the full bill was charged to my card! Had to phone the store (as someone above said the Nottingham number is of no use for this), a helpful guy said he'd redeem my card with my QPRCash amount. Tellingly he said this is happening to a lot of people and the Store staff are bombarding IT to fix! |

I did wonder why, on the MOTD2 tribute to Stan last season, some of his goals (Arse H 73/74? Spurs A 74/75?) were shown in B&W despite origianlly being in colour. Here's the answer! thanks |

Looking forward to it though most of the footage has been available for a while. Hopefully the series will be every weekend/episode though occasionally over a series of BMR, some weekends are skipped. We were featured 8 times that season as the BigMatch as the LWT game plus 4 regional away games shown as shorter highlights. Only one of the four wasn't shown in London at the time, which was Boro away - anyone ever seen that footage? [Post edited 14 May 12:44]

They have a deal with Sky to jointly show some (10?) EFL games at the backend of the season |

:-) your anorak is bigger than mine. I do recall we couldn't go anywhere for over an hour. Meanwhile my brother was at Sunderland following West Ham and was on his lonesome back in Newcy with our beers for ages. Happy times |

We can move on to discussing tomorrows midfiled choices soon :-) but as far as this trip/season, although it was third tier, it was one of my favourite seasons, there felt a real "we're in it together" between fans & the team. We did meet some nice 'Poolies that day in their social club pre match, they had an old style Shoot League ladder on the wall and there we were tucked in third (snigger). They complimented us as being only the second team to sell out the away end that season thus far as "no one wants to come up here" The station shenanigans came about because the first hourly train back to Newcy post match, was cancelled so we were told it was a 75 minute wait or buses/coaches. Plod gave the station platforms over to Rs and held the livlier Pool fans outside. |
