Do you really think if MC had been offered a job then he wouldn't have walked last summer? It is ridiculous at the moment on here. It seems MC was an absolute Saint who could do no wrong and everything is Nourrys fault. It is pretty clear MC wanted a job last summer, the relationship has broken down, probably due to both of them having entrenched views on the structure a manager should work in. Neither can be blamed 100%, it takes two to tango. |

He was trying to leave last summer just 6 months after he joined. That doesn't smack of long term commitment to the cause. |

Lineker? Put aside his politics for one moment and everyone knows exactly what he's like (allegedly). |

I think any manager that comes in will have to agree to promote DS players. The way the club is being structured is all being geared to having a conveyor belt of youth players being given a chance. There is absolutely no point having a good DS if they don't get a chance in the 1st team. All the youngsters signing have all said the same thing 'a clear path to the 1st team' was a big reason for joining. Play them and we'll be able to sign even better youngsters who we can sell. |

What's really good is the mixture of players in the DS. We have 18/ 19-year-old guys who have been at the club for 10 years, such as Tuck, Kolli, Sutton, etc, who are breaking through. Then released Academy players like Morgan and McDowell being picked up. We have foreign players Bennie, Dillon and Esquerdinha. Finally players such as Wilke, Halliday, and O'Brien from elite youth teams being signed. A wide net means we have a better chance of catching some gems. Totally agree that in the next couple of years, we could see a real benefit of this approach. Mentally though I've already written off this coming season, I think the target is survival, but I keep saying 2026/27 is when we could dramatically improve as the DS lads are promoted and have adjusted to 1st team football. |

You wouldn't necessarily bin off 2/3 older DS players. They can be used to make up the team whilst allowing younger players with more potential to go out on loan. It becomes a problem when those older players are either blocking the development of a younger player or are actually expected to step up to the first team. There has been no announcement on Talla or Aoraha yet or if one will even be coming, so not sure what your point is? |

And the preceeded to lose how many games in a row straight after that game? All the warning signs were there in that game, yet I got crucified on here for pointing it out. I was right though 😉 |

Season ticket sales look pretty good without a manager, up 4% suggests most are happy or pretty OK with what is happening. The payoff on MC will happen regardless of when a new manager is appointed. Pre season hasn't started yet and won't for a few weeks. Everyone needs to relax. |

I was so happy! It was like watching early 90s Rangers 🤣 In seriousness I am changing my view of Nourry. I defended MC a lot last season, but that ship has sailed and we move on. Also, the football was awful at the end, almost unwatchable. There is a little bit of blind hope that it will all be OK, but we have to do things differently. How many managers in the past 10 years is it? I've lost count. What I don't think is on is people posting criticism for the sake of it. MC has gone, we now have to have faith that Nourry gets the next appointment right. If not, then any criticism is completely justified. I haven't said Nourry is cooking either! |

OK. Yet, no one knows how many coaches have been interviewed and then turned the job down due to Nourry and his lack of experience. I really don't see it as a big deal if we get a coach last week or next. As long as it's the right one, why rush? What is dramatically going to change in a week? Miss out on that £10m striker we all want? We'll still be signing the same players regardless, namely cheap, or something wrong with them. And I do think some are moaning about Nourry simply because he is inexperienced and young. They are winding themselves, and others up over nothing. I think he is doing well considering the sh!t show of 30 years he walked in to and is trying to change the club. Good on him for doing things differently. |

Unfortunately I think Les was too nice. Nourry cones across as a bit arrogant and also has the uncanny ability to ignore a lot of the noise, namely us fans. To really turn the club around he is going to have to upset a lot more people going forward. I'd sooner he did that than be all wishy washy not wanting to rock the boat. I've got a feeling a lot more will be changing over the next couple of years. |

Cut out alcohol if you drink during the week as it piles the fat on due to the sugar content. Treat yourself to pint or 2 on a Friday/Saturday. It'll fall off quick if you couple it with moderate exercise. I'm 48, 5/10 and 12.5 stone. I was on anxiety tablets for 2 years that gave me cravings for alcohol. A side effect I never knew about until I read about it in the paper. I was never a big drinker, but ended up on 3 or 4 pints every night for a year. Stopped the stupid tablets and the craving for alcohol went, weirdest thing. Now I swim 3/4 times a week and have a pint on a Friday and Saturday. Fit as a fiddle now, but like to get back to 11.5 or 12 stone. |

Reduction in wage bill. Reduction in average age of squad to maximise resale value. Revamp of DS and releasing players deemed surplus early. Removal of previous coaches (Ramsey etc) and restructure. Installing club coaches independent of the manager so if he leaves he doesn't take the entire backroom team with him and leaving us screwed. Shopping in different markets for players, something we haven't done for years. I include the DS players such as Wilke, Bennie and O'brien who have all come in from pretty left field clubs. Varane already subject to a multi million £ bid after 10 months. Refusing to give a manager what he wants just because said manager demands it. I'd say Nourry is doing pretty well, yes, mistakes have happened, but we are not all perfect. I like him. He has a clear plan while trying new things and he is upsetting a few egos on the way. Good. |

The vast majority of European coaches work in exactly the setup that QPR is now installing. Head Coach, nothing more or less. Still, for the Luddites, I hear that Big Sam is available or even better a Holloway/Warnock tag team. What manager wants, manager gets. That worked out well for us! |

Jeez, Nourry has been in the job about 18 months which is not particularly long. How can he be accused of being the root cause of 30 years of utter bollox. He wasn't even born when we sold Ferdinand and bought Hateley, but no doubt his fault as well. I like what Nourry is doing as he is finally changing the club for the better. And MC wasn't that bloody good, I mean the football was God awful all of last season. Turgid. |

This. It is better to admit a mistake and rectify it than being to stubborn and carrying on regardless. You learn more through mistakes than everything going swimmingly. I think some on here are going to hammer Nourry no matter what he does. It is a bit tiresome. |
