The 6 should always be the most creative in the team so really pleased that the new coach implemented that immediately.
We played some decent stuff 1st half, but I'm afraid Field is not an 8, he simply hasn't got the technical ability.
When Varane and Morgan are both available it will be interesting to see how he sets it up. |

Here is the question.
Why, after years do we not have a central midfield that can thread a ball through? Ray Wilkins style.
Do that and our strikers can actually have an opportunity.
I'll say it again. You can make as many signings as you want, but until the 8 position is sorted it is all pointless. Neither Celar or Burrell were provided a chance today. Sort the 6/8 and the ST will score. |

1. that is ridiculously low, by far the lowest today in the Championship today.
2. Don't panic. These youngsters need our support.

Nardis contract ends this season, he'll be gone next summer. I imagine Cooper will be back from Bolton to fight it out with Walsh 26/27. |

Agree. Nardi was my player of the season, but purely based on his performances until February. He was found out by the end.
Walsh? It looks like he is playing absolutely pumped with adrenaline. He needs to calm down.
With crosses, he controlled the box well. Just calm down and take a breath. Hopefully, 10 games in he'll be OK. |

Mbengue and Morrison both play CB.
Morgan played RB/CB in Spurs Academy, so only 12 months ago. He switch to CM with us. |

Wobbling around the pitch at a snails pace while taking a fat wage. And all of them got dogs abuse on here at some point. Now we don't have them it seems there is a collective case of rose tinted glasses... let's sign Josh Windass etc etc. He'll do a job.....
The squad is thin as we don't have the money to pay the wages being demanded, unless you want to give 31yo Josh Windass a 3 year deal? Fck that.
Even if we lose tomorrow I'll back the new approach. Its the only thing that has made any sense coming from this club in 10 years. |
