 | Forum Reply | QPR head back Down Under for Macarthur’s Kealey Adamson – Signing at 17:20 29 Jun 2025
FA GBE Rules. Jeez, is football just getting more complicated. Thanks for the write up as I, and probably everyone else knew nothing about him. Adamson and Dunne are chalk and cheese and I don't see how you can have someone so different as a backup. Adamson looks quick and at 6ft 1, isn't exactly short, but as you said not in the Dunne level ariel dominant. I wonder if another RB is brought in on loan to release Dunne to CB. |

Listen to the podcast. Maguire hasn't seen the latest accounts for any of the teams mentioned, he is basing it on the last published and what has happened in the interim. He does this every year. It's all looking a lot better. |

Promotion. Built around young players, world vlass training facilities, world class coaches, player specific coaching and medical team. Young player pathway and development with promise to be sold if attractive bids come in (Eze style). Get everything right off the pitch and you'll attract and retain your better players. Easy. |

Just listened to the podcast. How refreshing to hear QPRs name not mentioned in the clusterf*ck clubs! Got to take hats off to Nourry, which won't be popular with some, but he is turning the ship around. |

Not sure about a new striker due to cost and availability., that's why I've gone LB & CM. I'm still hanging my hat on Celar being our main ST with Frey and Kelman (if he stays). I can't sit through another season watching Field and Varane passing every which way but forward so CM is imperative for me. I've heard the club is looking at bringing in a LB on loan, which would make sense if Esquardinha is the longer term choice. Will be an interesting July. |

I didn't think we'd be signing loads of players and I've not changed my mind. Maybe a couple more, say a LB and a CM, but apart from that we look good. Two things could change that. Sale of Eze and sale of Kelman. Overall its looking good so far, and still early in the window. |

Didn't the club say contract discussions are ongoing with about 5 or 6 players? I thought most contracts expired 30th June, so we might see announcements Monday. Poor show not thanking the loan players. |

If it's a youngster and a development loan, the club will try and find a club that plays the same sort of style if possible. Can they get guaranteed football, a good environment, who pays wages etc etc. I have no idea regarding older players. |

If Madsen and Celar both stay for 4/5 years how is that dead money? I remember us spending a fairly large (at the time) fee on a certain Simon Barker. He got absolute dogs abuse 1st season, but it didn't turn out too bad in the end. 10 years service. I think everyone needs to take a step back regarding Nourry. Some signings will work, some won't, but at least we are now doing the right thing now. |

Forget Cook, he is going to struggle with that injury. Probably why Nourry sounded so hacked off when announcing the extension. He isn't going to play much. JCS, really? It's pretty clear they are adding pace and power to the wide areas, something we've lacked for ages. Imagine QPR back in the early 90s. Impey, Sinton, Wilson and Bardsley. Now it'll probably be Poku, Dembele, Larkeche/Brazillian and Mbengue/Adamson. We are going to have fast overlapping full backs who can deliver balls into the box supported by fast wingers. Push the opposition back, especially at home. Now this sort of football I can watch. |

Keep saying, expect Dunne to be switched to CB. We have basically bought 2 right backs. |

I have electric underfloor in our kitchen and rear/side extension extension (which includes a wc with shower) as we have concrete floors. We have no rads in these rooms. The cost incurred is higher when you keep turning it on and off. The missus switches it on in October and it goes off in April. Once it's up to the desired temperature, it just kicks on and off including over night. Had it for 17 years and the wife is happy with it. So I am. |

Reckon Dunne will be shifted to centre back. He isn't quick enough as a full back. Might have a pretty quick team! |

I imagine he'll go right back, freeing JD to revert to the centre next to either JCS or Morrison. Don't think we'll see much of Cook this season. Mbengue can cover. Alfie Gilchrist is another QPR are interested in. His family want him to stay local if released from Chelsea, so we might be in with a chance there, but money talks I suppose. In fairness JCS had his best season when Ben Williams was full-time, so we might see more of him this. |
