Well said Robbo.....may come back to your comment in 12 months? Might just turn out to be a "The Slump Starts here" jobby? |

I think the message at Dale is, we'll take anyone into the COA to fill our stands, why not? But it would be good to see many more ladies ( like Ascot and Aintree, even in heels and facinators)......they know how to have a good time . |

York City at home last game of the season, could be a full house, depending? |

No disrespect to the lad but this is probably best for both parties...don't think he would figure at San Spotty very much, with all the new arrivals and he surely would like a permanent deal elsewhere. Good luck. |

AS you say D4L, season is approaching fast and we must be ready from the off and these friendlies used to the max....vital in all this planning is a decent goalkeeper and up to press we don't have one. Drilling the team for use of the multiball system is a pivotal distributer in net. Maybe we will have to live with the loan keeper option again, but this also cost us some momentum last season? |

Was half reading a post on my phone today (lost it now).....apparently there will be 10 match balls used in National League games next season. Two on each side of the pitch and behind the respective goals. Placed on cones. My first thought was back during Hilly's reign we abopted this fast approach and at the time it worked for our high octave play. Good to watch Second thought was would it suit McNulty's slow build up play and passing out of defence? Players would need to be on their mettle constantly and that in itself is tiring. The other consideration is "useful" time wasteing to see out a result. |

Agree about Taylor as assistant Manager, hope he is capable of questioning some of McNulty's weird substitutions...."Why are you taking Barlow off and putting Hogan on right now? Barlow is running the show." |

Where's RKershaw when you need him?........Surely this signing is a cue for the popular "Pink Panther Theme" written by Henry Mancini? Come on guys,we all know it...get humming. Bit of an ear worm too! |

Fergie, well loved at Yeovil when on loan from us, like many others, feel he was overlooked here by McNulty......back to haunt us? |

Good to see JT back at San Spotty.......perhaps he will drill the midfielders into being more demanding/aggressive in play, bit like his goodself ? Did he play alongside McNulty way back? |

Hope this is not true....big player for us and always seems to be enjoying himself. But money talks. Carlisle bookies favorites for the title........let's see? |
 | Forum Thread | Dale Ladies....going places? at 17:28 11 Jun 2025
It was good to hear that Co Chair Cam mentioned the Ladies team in his Summer Update today. I have never seen them play but see theads on X that they are doing well and recently promoted. They do seem to be in and around Trophies last few seasons. Tend to agree with Co-Chair that Women's Football is a rapidly expanding area and something Dale should be pursuing. Nationally the game is booming with the WSL and Championship being readily available to watch. Noticed today that Arsenal Women are to play all their home games at the Emirates next season. They are pulling in an average of 29k attendances and topped 60k+ to almost fill the stadium last season at one point. I know we are miles from that.....but would it be possible to get our Women's 1st team onto San Spotty a few games? I think we might see a few goals? There's a thing. There are about 8 ladies in the new CAB , I know Charlotte sometimes post on here.....what do you folk think? |

Scotland have history of developing useless goalies. Did local hero Andy Goram keep net for them? |

We only signed him because "City Slicker" looked a good headline...... |

Great game to watch with both teams going hammer and tongs at each other.....really wanted Southend to win and our lot avoid another trip to far Essex. Trouble is they will be at it next season to finish the job. They took 4 points from Dale and knocked us out of the play offs. Hope this game shows the further demise of the constant playing out from the back( constant being pertinant word) and promotion of pacy attacking play and deliveries into the dreaded "corridor of uncertainty" as highlighted by the DAZN lot. The winner for Latics was a simple chaos causer from miles out. I know McNulty does n't like this sort of stuff but the fans do. Would our lot have wilted under the Wembley sun today, I think I know my answer. |

Good game so far......Southend need to get Scott-Morriss into the game more. 1-0 is still dodgy score, keep attacking Southend! |
