That's true and if he does go for that reason then it's understandable. That said, he's known that not signing a new deal means this is his last season with us so he could perhaps have cut out the badge clutching if he wasn't planning to sign. That would make him seem a tad bit less cynical.

Yes, and very hard to believe that the French police would merely note the name of someone accused of assault with a weapon resulting in the victim being in a critical condition in hospital. And then do nothing. I smell a rat.
