I assume this is what your chairman means about timing ! Good luck chaps, it will be very interesting I think for us all to see how he gets on without flicker. It's weird how things work out.
What a good signing guys. "Boggy" is not a worker. He's not the best footballer. But his finishing is Premier League standard. You will have to withstand the shortcomings in his game and I think he probably thinks he is better than he is but if he gets chances he will, more likely than not, score.
We have signed Dagnall today as you will have seen. Do you have any opinions on him. Seems to me like a typical Keef signing - hard working, did well, lost his way a little, cheap! I have 100% faith in him with the signings he has made - McNulty (well capable championship defender), Perkins (love this guy, amazing engine, strong in the tackle), Vaz Te and Davies obviously and Matty Done is improving game on game, he and Wiseman have serious pace, Wiseman growing game on game too.

secondly, we have had a decent pre season (could mean nothing) but there has been a definite change in style of play.
The tactic seems to be to knock it around at the back and then draw the opposition in and counter attachk very quickly. Is this what Hillcroft did for you guys. I can see how it would work when level or winning but did they adopt a different approach when losing as I imagine it would be difficult to pull off if one or two down?
Hi All. Would just like to put on record that we all know how you feel at the moment. Danny Wilson joined Barnsley and completely transformed our club. For mediocre season after mediocre season prior to him coming on board he brought style, passion, flair, style and most importantly pride to Oakwell.
When he left Barnsley for Sheffield Wednesday I felt utterly betrayed. Like my partner had just left me. Absolutely gutted I was.
But..we rose again. And will rise again further. No one man is bigger than the club. I hope you manage to get through things OK and wish you all the very best for the coming season.
You could do a lot worse than persuade Mark Robins to come to Spotlands.
