Just because there is a release clause in the contract doesn't mean that is what he is going to be sold for. If Eze wants to go and CP do not want to sell him then any club wanting to buy him would have to meet the release clause but, if CP want to cash in on the player then they could accept a lower fee.
Not quite true. Bank employees know too. An ex of mine used to work in a bank that a well known player of ours used (this was back in the 80's). I saw him there one day and asked her if she knew what he was earning. She said she did but wouldn't tell me what it was lol
Ultimately it is the players decision. If they are under contract and do not want to move the club cannot force them to leave. We have seen that in action often enough with the high earners who were happy to sit on the bench and pick up a wage. On the other hand, if a player wants to leave and is under contract, do you really want a unhappy player in the squad.
Don't think this is going to work out for him to win another championship. Ferrari have proven in the past that they cannot do in race strategy very well and I don't think they are any closer to RB than Mercedes. The last time Ferrai were good was mainly because Ross Brawn got rid of the Italian mentality there and geared the whole team to a single driver. Ferrai won't do that with Leclerc having signed a long term deal with them.
I don't se why both accuser and accused can't remain annonymous until the trial is over. If found not guilty both parties remain annonymous. If found guilty the accused can be named.
It depends on the wording in the sales contract as to how much we might get. If it 10% of profit then knock off what they paid for him. I think some are grossly overestimating how much he is worth. 30-40M maybe. Can't see us getting anywhere near £15 M. But every little helps I guess.
We do seem to pick up more than our fair share of crocks but didn't Charlie Austin fail a medical at another club before joing us? So I guess sometimes its worth a risk.
We are paying more than 15 players. The official site shows. 18 first team, 20 in the development, 9 in under 18s, 25 in the womens. Then there is the management and coaching team. And 30 members of staff. Lee Hoos 30K a year
The thing is that it is not just the stadium. I think LH said before that to create revenue away from match days there needs to be sufficient space inside the ground plus secure parking very close to the ground. Unfortunately I don't think upgrading LR is a viable prospect.
Personally I would be getting legal advice. The car is clearly not fit for purpose and I think this would be a legitimate reason for the contract to be terminated. Alternatively you could contact a consumer programme such as BBC watchdog.
Always thought Wayne Rooney was overrated. Never turned in the performances for England in the Euros or World cups and to have him as the greatest goalscorer for England is a sham as most of them were against weak opposition.
This was exactly the reason why I hated grounds with fencing in front of the pitch. Bradford was a disaster but imagine how much worse if that stand had been fenced in.
My problem with Dykes is that he doesn't have that strikers instinct. Last night was a classic case. The ball comes to him and instead of putting it away without thinking he thought he was offside and delayed the shot. A strikers instinct would be to put the ball away first and then see if you are offside.
Saw a video of the making of the Godfather and in it JC says that he was made Italian of the year by the community even though there was no Italian blood in his family. Also, if I remember rightly, the book describes him as not looking Italian. But I agree, visually he did stand out when compared to his brothers in the film. Still thought he was fantastic in it.
Gutted to hear this. Was a big fan and saw him many times live. His shows were always spectacular and all the ones I went to lasted more than 2.5 hours. Amazing to see a guy of that size put in the energy that he did for that length of time. He really seemed to love performing live and always included the audience. A truly great performer and singer and will be greatly missed. RIP
