Knew Spennymoor would equalize when the assistant (Gibbins) was telling the players to slow it down and defend. Handed the initiative to Spennymoor who had been threatening when they got forward all game. Why Alarakia was left on whilst clearly injured was staggering. We really are weak.

Two strikers up front makes all the difference.
Devante Rodney so much ability. Once he robbed their player you just knew he was going to score. Got to be the most frustrating player we've ever had.
Why hasn't Hendo been used more. Looks as fit as ever.

Sad day but one that comes to all footballers. Probably his last contract and believe he was always going back to Ireland when the time was right. Top professional and great servant, will need two players to replace him. All the best Jimmy Keohane.

Agreed we've lacked a no10 type player all season to link midfield and forwards. Indeed for me the tactics are very Bbm were it's all about self promotion rather than what's needed to garner results for us.

I thought Gateshead did pretty much did what we should be doing. Possession with more tempo, got the ball to the half way out of defence quickly (ala man city) and varied there play from there. There midfielder (Francis) was the hub of everything good they did and had the freedom of the park. When they played the ball forward it stuck and they carried a threat. We where very passive , when played forward we lost possession or recycled. So frustrating.

Lots of waffle and no substance. Very cloak and dagger. Only conclusion is they would be looking to leverage the purchase price and spending on the ground. Without transparency it really looks like Bottomley2 and Morton house with a mask on.
