Splendid news for me today - clearing out the loft and the 'long lost' above programme was found and still in good order! Brought back a lot of memories!
Yes worked a treat for me - I needed the three digit number from the 2019/20 Season Ticket for it to recognize me. The ID Number on the 20/21 Season Card was a no go.
Five out of the next six games at home could be the key to our season. A good return from them (3 wins 1 draw?) and our position will be alot clearer. Home form will be the key with 8 home and only five away to go
Anybody see the article saying that only Hendo and Aguerro have scored 10+ goals in the whole Football League in each of the last 7 years? That's an incredible fact that we should be proud of and make every effort to retain him. His loyalty to the club has been without question and nothing in the public domain gives the slightest inclination that he has changed his feelings. A three year contract with his fitness levels and appearance stats should not be beyond us
That red strip is diabolical, awful. We must get white goal nets at Spotland - they look great. When did they change the rule about kick-off? We kicked off second half and played the ball straight back. In the France - Switzerland game both kick-offs were the same.
Sorry can't see the message anywhere - I am about to set off for Spotland in the next 10 mins Let me know if you want to meet outside the ground or the chippy?
Just a word of praise for Josh - thought their keeper had a great game yesterday but did not compare to Josh in the distribution part of the game. Josh's kicking/throwing is really excellent - I lost lost track of the number of times their keeper put it straight into touch.
A rolling one-year contract means it always has one year to go don't know why these are popular but there you are. A one year contract would have only three days to pay up.
Definitely should not be afraid of what we have seen so far. Comparisons to our promotion season are interesting - on the equivalent Saturday we had played 16 games and got 29 points. Of course we then went on our run through to the end of March losing only 2 games and drawing only 3. I think this year is much more open and consistency and bouncing back from the odd defeat will be the key again.
Much better yesterday! I liked the fact that there was obviously some thought given to improving our home performances - the later 'warm up' almost running straight out to shake hands, the huddle at the beginning (we might mock it for away teams but as a sign of togetherness, lets do it) and also the applauding the crowd at the end is something I have not noticed before. All positive actions. Got to say I think our floodlights are looking dimmer by the match - how many bulbs are out now! Maybe the Trust has another project!
Fantastic performance the other night, the boys are doing us proud! 110% effort and no little skill shown, the team and squad have been set up brilliantly. I think I special well done should go to Matt Flynn. He has almost disappeared off the radar, I can't remember when he last got on the field for a league match but thought he did pretty well in an unfamiliar position. Did anybody else think that it may be time to upgrade the floodlights? It's probably my eyes that can't believe what they have been seeing for these last 3/4 years but I thought there seemed to be a number of darkish patches on the pitch. Maybe not all the lights are working (I noticed two were out on the Pearl St/Willbutts Lane corner) but it could be some updating is needed. Was it 1990 when the lights were put up?
