At the height of hotel use, in June 2023, 51,000 asylum seekers were housed in more than 400 hotels across the UK, costing the Home Office £8 million a day. By March 2025, this had fallen to 32,345 asylum seekers in 218 hotels.

If medvedev was in charge yes, but Putin just wants the eastern provinces, to destroy any threat from the Ukranian military, to de nazify the area , protect ethnic Russians and send a message to NATO. He has done that

Putin is a moderate compared to his cabinet and especially Medvedev. They would have been in Kyev by now if he was in charge.

There was a stat out a few days ago, showing the genocide in Gaza has killed 123 times more children than have been killed in the Ukrainian conflict. 0.3% in the Ukraine and 37% in Gaza It highlighted the difference between a war and pure genocide. Yet some on here and elsewhere will condemn Russia but not Israel. Absolutely disgraceful

Jurors are selected randomly by computer from the electoral roll. Yes, some can be objected to, but the system is foolproof

The war in that region was brutal. Often at close quarters and hand to hand British and Indian troops were getting a hiding until the 14th army was taken over by the Brilliant Bill Slim. He re organised, trained and brought in new tactics. This eventually led to the rout of 2 entire Jap armies, the biggest land defeat they suffered

Reform controlled councils aren't exactly covering themselves in glory. They paralysed a Kent council. And have done similar elsewhere

There's so much confusion over prostate tests. Some docs don't like doing them. Who can have them and who can't? I don't believe they are that accurate
