If as seems to be the case that we are going with a young inexperienced keeper whether it be Whatmuff or Myles, it is imperative that we all get behind him and support him as I am sure mistakes will occur. Appreciate that there will always be the situation that we could still bring in another loan keeper at any stage of the season , but I do fear that action would possibly have a devastating effect on their future careers |

Just read, apparently on loan for coming season with a view to a permanent deal in 12 months time |

Whilst agreeing that the first thought would be that City loaned Whatmuff to us to be No 1 keeper, but perhaps there could be a situation that they might feel that exposing the young man into a world of "Big Boys " football even if only in training sessions may benefit him rather than perhaps beginning to stagnate in youth football. Like many a little surprised that we have now got 2 very young keepers ,would have thought it would have been one or other but not both. Have considered putting myself forward having had years of experience as a keeper. On my recent CV are "players player of the year" Coaches Player of the Year and a best player in a tournament trophy. Downside---it was walking football and being 77 years old perhaps will give it a miss!!! |

Much prefer this kit than our home kit. |

Difficult one in so far as if we are not going to sign an older keeper who has probably had a mediocre career at EFL level, we are left in our current situation of getting younger, less experienced but one assumes more promising keepers on loan and hope it works. Whatmuff looks a biggish lad ,so will have to see how it goes. I am old enough to remember the" Keith Welch" era of a young keeper being big enough to be a success |

A bit surprised that Jim is considering the need for another striker, hopefully he would also be able to cover a midfield position as I still feel we are a bit short of midfielders in the squad at the present time |

Interesting appointments with both Taylor and Done joining coaching setup , I think that this could lead to perhaps a change in how we set up to play Anybody else feel that this weakens Big Jim's position ? |

With what appears on paper to be a half decent signing, feel that comments about other clubs"clout" will be difficult to be used by Big Jim. Lets hope a keeper follows soon or Josh might have to coach himself |

Cardiff fans on their forum ,whilst feeling it is good that BBM has got his own men around him , are a bit concerned that they have all got Rochdale on their CV's |

Might be worth a cheeky ask as to Moulden's availability for a loan as Norwich have now signed a third keeper this summer , both of whom have more experience than Moulden |

Another who I noted had moved on was Matty Pearson,he has signed for Doncaster. Considering we released him on a free ,he has gone on to have had a reasonable career |

Whilst we thought he was a fine young keeper, feel that this may be a big move if he is to make it at a reasonable level of pro football He has been involved at Liverpool, City , Wolves and Palace without making any great significant strides so perhaps this is the move to kick start his career. Best of Luck to the lad, will be watching with interest. |
